"I ordered the Wedge Salad, full size for $14, a very reasonable price. All was going well until I bit down on what I thought was a small piece of gravel. I kept finding these pieces throughout the salad. They were about the size of a deer tick, had absolutely no taste so I had no idea what it was. Even the lake of dressing at the bottom of the salad did not soften these pieces. When I finally got to speak to the server (who never once came to check in) as she was taking my payment, I asked her if these pieces were old walnuts? Bacon bits? I just wanted to give the chef a head's up. A tooth could certainly have been broken. She informed me it was pancetta! Pancetta??!! Maybe pancetta that had been in the fry pan for a few days and left out to dry. I won't be back. My friend got the veal parm. The veal was good, the pasta was too thick, over cooked. The side salad was over-dressed wilted lettuce with a couple of supermarket croutons. Bread was stale, coffee was luke warm, bitter and $3.50 for a small cup. And as I said before, the server never once checked in on us, it took forever to get the drinks and the meal. I will not be back."

My husband came here as a kid. Gechas childhood memories. When we were first married we came here together, but the atmosphere reflected my husband childhood. Saw updates on Phantom Gourmet and decided to try it again. Guess what? It was excellent! Had dinner in tbe bar. Caterina Cindy were outstanding.
