"Hotel is right across from the fabulous beach. Ocean view room was greAt! Aaron welcomed us at the valet. He was spectacular (we had two pre-k age boys with us and he was super friendly and patient. He was the best in the valet area! . Valet doesn’t work if you are running late haha. sometimes they only have 1 person and you have to wait 10 min for the car. Pedro, Shanique, and Dylan in the pool area were always in a good mood!great costumer service! Our waiters in the pool were also sweet and cool. Thank you all !!! Can’t say the same about the waitress in the breakfast area (we actually skipped breakfast in the tinto place due that the beach attendant .. was rude : I wonder if the $30 for the beach umbrella rental also includes “manners”. Wish I had asked for the name of the sweet lady from Bogota who serviced our room, mil Gracias !!! I recommend the Lavazza lil place, superb coffee and chicken empanada was tasty!Nice costumer service.I really enjoyed the stay there with hubby and our boys. Next stay will be longer. They seem to host several events work related : so not everyone is walking around with beach towels; the one thing I’d change (aside from having only people who are gOOd for the job; is that the room should have the door with lock from the living room to the bedroom. They have a lock door in the bathroom which makes no sense since the bathroom has a giant sliding window that leads to the side of the bed lol my lil boys had a blast playing store and more there .. but that lock serves no “privacy” purpose. it would have been nice to have a lock on the other door as well lol The giant glass sliding doors have an extra safety lock up high! Out of reach for children. Even though the doors are heavy I appreciate the extra security. That was great!Peace of mind and relaxation. Overall…I truly recommend this Westin, and … the Fort Lauderdale water is close to pristine Caribbean waters (c l o s e.."
