"I came in for a late night buffalo pie as I do quite often because it 's one of my favorite in Boston and I 've supported this on ig and via boston influencers who are friends that also repost and in turn support your business. It was actually the day after my birthday. That said, I still love the food but will not come here ever again because of your staff... Your thuggish doorman and bearded mixologist are rude, unprofessional, and apparently think they can judge a book by its cover and get away with it.... Wrong. I was also informed your manager whom I really liked is no longer there anymore? Yes, that 's right, when I asked where he was I was met with laughter (so professional)... Well he was awesome so, your loss. In 15+ years of this industry when I see things like that after the 3 to 6 month honeymoon opening period its a clear sign the snowball has started to roll... And straight to hell at that. (Original review from weeks back before last visit was 4 stars but I couldn 't let this go so I updated it) Eat here so often and so happy I found out you had opentable finally so i couldnt not write something! Buffalo chicken pie is always Amazing. Buffalo wings, potentially some of the most flavorful and perfectly cooked wings I have had. The meatball and cubano paninis are basically a go to whenever throughout the week. The lobster roll white bulls way is quite nice too with the bacon and lobster a refreshing twist! Hope this helps and cheers!"

We ate at The White Bull Tavern for lunch. The buffalo dip appetizer and flatbreads are excellent. Definitely recommend for lunch. View menu

We were seated and a young man brought us some water. We waited for a server to come see us. We waited 15 minutes as we watched the waitress for our section talk to every table except for us. We left and ate elsewhere.

Casual neighborhood joint, steps away from Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Great spot to grab a bite to eat and a beer without breaking the bank. The menu includes lobster rolls (of course), but also options for someone who doesn't enjoy seafood (specialty pizzas, paninis, and appetizers). View menu

It’s definitely still in the process of establishing itself and the look it’s going for which was distracting at all times. The food was very mediocre and not worth the higher price. There was no issue with good timing but there seemed to be one waitress for the entire floor. We saw multiple parties get up and leave. They also disregarded our reservation and just shrugged when they found it on open floor. I’ll try it again when it seems like they are more put together.

nothing particularly wrong. Perhaps we have a little too big our hopes, because we have been led to the fact that this was a really lively place. the atmosphere was just kind of meh. No one worked the stand of the host when we came in, and we had to go into the bar to get someone the attention. I don't know if they knew we had a reservation. but eating was quite good, especially for boston prices, and the service was good in the bar. good experience overall and I would go back when I was back in the opposite. I was hoping for a little better.

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
