HORRIBLE service. Worst waitresses we've encountered in a long time. Maybe time to find a new job. Food was good but it's been better.

The nachos were excellent! The burrito bowl and burrito were good as well. Two of our party got the tumbleweed burger and were disappointed, and the yucca fries were hard, definitely not worth the up sell... but all in all we enjoyed our lunch.

We loved this place! Outdoor dining with sea view, delicious generous portions of Mexican cuisine (the Carnitas Tacos were delicious! and fabulous service...what is not to love? Add the delicious coconut margarita and cheap prices (for Block Island and I am in heaven. I just wish we had discovered it earlier in our trip so we would have left. View menu

Was very disappointed with the food here my chicken burrito bowl had no flavor?Chipotle does a better job. What restaurant claiming to be a mexican restaurant doesn?t even have pico de gallo?! Had to ask for salt and was suggested the green hot saucewhich I didn?t know costs extra. Couldn?t even finish half of my bowl and went around the corner to the grocery store to cleansemy palate.

Our favorite restaurant on Block Island. Best nachos we have ever had (and we have had a ridiculous amount! . Nachos, one or more margaritas and a delicious entree while sitting on the deck is a perfect lunch. Most of the staff has been there for years and the kitchen is the Winfields kitchen. Our absolute favorite spot for a meal on BI! We went to The Yellow Kittens twice during our week long stay on Block Island, and both times, we had a good experience. We sat outside on the deck. First time we shared a large nachos platter with brisket. It was quite good, but I was surprised it had bits of pineapple on it maybe part of the salsa fresca? My husband picked off the pineapple but I liked it. Second time I had their taco salad with brisket. It was delicious and their brisket is tender. So look, this is a local joint with no pretense, folks, and the silverware and cups are plastic. If you're looking for upscale and more gourmet, go to the Oyster Bar and Grill at the Manassis Hotel.

We had lunch here on Saturday 7/24 after a fun few hours at the beach. It was a great place to chill, have some great food and relax. My husband and I were there with a friend. We have been coming to Block Island for almost 20 years. My husband's father was a bouncer at Yellow Kittens as a young man. We ordered the tacos (3 each) of chicken, fish and shrimp. All were outstanding. The only thing I would recommend would be serving them in a taco holder (usually come in plastic or metal), which helps maintain their shape. Ours were laid side by side on a platter and they unfolded, which caused some of the filling to fall out. Other than that, they were perfect....tasty.. flavorful, light and he...

We celebrated a family birthday at the yellow kittens this past weekend. Delightful to sit on the open deck with the awning to give us some shade. Service was fast. Plenty of ice water, napkins etc. We ordered the trio of salsa‘s with guacamole and chips. Best salsa Fresca I’ve had in years! I had fish tacos which were dynamite. My husband had a beef burrito where you pick the ingredients for the filling. Large enough to take half of it home for a meal the next day! Extremely well seasoned. Hats off to the chef.
