"There are lots of bad reviews for this spot but I had an awesome time. Hubby and I went on a Saturday night and I have nothing to complain about. We sat at the bar. Bartender was attentive. My top shelf Long Island iced tea was off the chain. It was so strong. I couldn?t finish it bc I?m a lightweight. ? I ordered cheese steak sub and sweet potato fries. Hubby ordered chicken wings and a chipotle burger. Food came out in no time. My bread was soft and my sub was good. The mango habanero wings were good. My sweet potato fries weren?t seasoned but I just added some ketchup and was good. Hubby said his burger and steak fries was good. The DJ started playing music right around 10pm. I have no complaints. We had a cool experience and would definitely return."

These fish tacos were delicious, I usually do not go back to the same place, but back here to try different foods, also prices are affordable considering that nowadays is expensive everywhere and food is not so good, but this place is great, service was also great, loved this place

The food at this restaurant is amazing, and the portion sizes are quite generous! I tried the Cajun pasta, which could easily serve three meals. Considering the large portions, the prices are very reasonable. We thoroughly enjoyed the Cajun pasta, Guac Burger, chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, and chili tortillas. Everything was excellent!

The place is in need of a remodel. Everything is worn out and the men?s bathroom door knob was broken. The bathroom was disgusting and there was also a huge hole under the back door. Not sure how they could prevent roaches or rats from getting intothe restaurant. Also, could not find a posted health score. Not keeping up the usual 3 dollar cafe standards. View menu

Furthermore, staff members could enhance their phone communication skills. Instead of just stating "we're closed," they might greet callers with a friendly "Thank you for calling $3 Cafe, how may I assist you today?" Prioritizing good customer service should always be essential.

Food was good. I would have give that 4 stars. We had fried pickle chips, the Cuban, and a chicken sandwich. My complaint is just with how they handled forgetting an item in an order for pick up. My husband ordered the Cuban mainly for the plantains. Those got left out of the meal. So we called and let them know. They had more waiting for pickup. When I drove back to get the items there were the most pathetic looking plantains. I drove an hour total for this meal (so 30 minutes total for these two little nuggets).
