"We were very lucky to have been taken care of by Luis,Executive Chef; but so were other patrons. He guided us with cocktails, and each step of every round of tapas. Simply, a wonderful food journey. Some highlights: ceviche with the right flavors of citrus blended with mango and seafood along with the right choices of meat and cheese board; tostonitos with beef morsels topped with cheese, it makes your eyes close; we had many more delights, and must mention the staff so warm and helpful. This is a wonderful establishment in our community and all should come celebrate a special occasion, come with friends to catch up. My review comes with a few minor easy fixes i hope are implemented, new plates after those delicious tapas, softer more authentic music, i missed the guitar player. Note, these are minor and i cant wait to return!"

It was a little expensive; 2 people, 1 cocktail each and the total was $120 with tip.

It is a very nice new restaurant finally open in this neighborhood! Modern interior, good selection of wine. The interior lighting is too bright I would recommend to dimmer it will bring a nice ambient to the place. View menu

outstanding new place, from service to amazing eating! some companies have tried and failed at this place, but I am positiw that will make it. we literally live a block and a half of the restaurant, so we will definitely be there on a weekly basis. keep the fantastic workers, great places and the friendlyest staff!

great discovery! we had reservations for our jubiläum im capital grille in rosemont, but saw an ad for this new restaurant. we stopped and it was closed the morning, but someone looked at the menu outside and gave us a menu to take with us. we canceled our reservations at capital grille and came here instead. the food was fantastic, everything came hot and tasteful, wine was delicious, music was great, service also great, and we got champagner to celebrate our jubilee. no trouble, and we'll be back!

“Soft opening” for a Sunday brunch. Very limited offerings for brunch and tapas menu was not offered. Pancakes were “thick and dry” so my friends doused them with what they thought was maple syrup. The server supplied our table with balsamic vinegar NOT syrup. The server never asked about our meal but the chef came by and offered more pancakes( we passed). He took$5 off the bill !! We had two orders of pancakes, big deal when they cost $12.50 each. Too bad, I drive down Belmont frequently but don’t think I’ll stop by nor recommend this place. Oh yes, we were the only customers! I would definitely recommend Tinto Tapas to friends and already. The mood is very a party atmosphere with lively music in the background and the CHEF waited for us! He was very attentive and we enjoyed his choices for the charcuterie. I want to go back and try more of their menu. Her wines were great and he even prepared a special drink for my mom who prefer sweeter wines. It was my birthday party and I received a deconstructed Tiramisu very nice. We had a vegetarian in our party, but there was a lot for him to choose from the menu. The decor is a trendy black and white decor. (The lighting could be a bit brighter in warmer tones and perhaps more a barrier between the kitchen and the last ta...

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
