"Everyone seemed to be enjoying caldo or menudo, and I must admit, I regret not trying one of them! However, I really liked my torta—I've never had one with sour cream before, so that’s definitely going on my list of great ideas! Honestly, it was huge and absolutely delicious. I could almost hear people saying, “that’s why she said,” which made me laugh! The food was really good, and it’s conveniently located near my workplace, so I know I’ll be stopping by more often for some authentic home-cooked meals. I definitely plan to try their menudo and burritos soon. If you’re in the area, you should check them out—it’s a little gem hidden in plain sight!"

This experience was fantastic! I really enjoyed the wall adorned with various quotes; I definitely have to return! The atmosphere was quite relaxed, the food was delicious, and the staff was extremely friendly.

The staff is extremely friendly, and the food isn’t greasy like at many other places. Every dish is delicious, and the atmosphere is relaxed and casual. They also provide a fantastic selection of about four different salsas. View menu

Clean place to eat. Combos are a little overpriced for what is offered. Soup that is offered in combo is only broth with nothing in it . Tostadas weren't bad. Sauces are good. Juices lack flavor and are watered down. Otherwise it's a friendly atmosphere.

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
