Totonacos Mexican Grill

We visited with a group of friends and had a wonderful time. From the outside, it didn’t seem like much, but the interior was charming and the food was excellent. The portions were generous, making it feel like a fantastic value.

Absolutely the best Mexican food! I’ve been here a few times and it’s always just perfect. The enchiladas and spanish rice are my favorite! I think it’s the most Mexican authentic food I’ve had in years. Highly recommend going there!

Best Mexican food in Utah county. Their food is homemade fresh. Locally owned, great service location. We got the 3 chimichanga meal, the 3 enchilada meal an order of queso cheese. It costs a little less than cafe rio or costa vita it’s not from plastic bags. Highly recommend. View menu

Had a hard time conveying to our server that I wanted spicy fajitas. He brought out steak nachos because that was the only dish he said could be made spicy. It wasn't, but he brought out some spicy Chipotle sauce to pour on to. It was spicier, but not by much. They also do not serve alcohol at this restaurant, so no margaritas.

Regarding accessibility, I believe they have a ramp available. For my dining experience, I had dinner and found the price per person to be quite reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20. This place is pretty dang good! I have had good Mexican food before but this is just amazing. The chori queso is to die for!! The Al pastor tacos were what really made me want to just melt in happiness. They were so delicious and flavorful they also had pineapple in the taco which some places don’t do! The food here tastes homemade…by a midwestern white woman who thinks black pepper is “so spicy”No flavor, definitely no spice. Chicken Enchiladas were literally non-seasoned chicken wrapped in a corn tortilla and covered in sauce, with a mess of shredded lettuce and tomatoes over it all. No seasoning, no melted cheese, NADAThe pineapple fajitas were fine, but nothing to return for.We came because the reviews of this place were good. We left realizing none of those reviewers have ever eaten Mexican food.The place is clean and cute, service was quick and friendly.

I had a really unique experience with the Mexican food at this restaurant! It's quite different from any Mexican cuisine I've tried before. While I thought the food was good, I wouldn’t label it as fantastic. I would still recommend it as a fun place to dine! However, it’s a bit on the expensive side; the burrito was around $13 or $14. The presentation of the food was stunning, and you could tell it was made with great care, which impressed us a lot! One thing worth mentioning is that my wife has felt unwell ever since eating there, which is unusual for her when it comes to Mexican food.

Good experience over all. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. The food was good. I was really excited try their chimis. And they were good, however there was some kind of white sauce all over them and it was rather distasteful. I think it was a cheese sauce, I have never had a Mexican white cheese sauce before and it was rather strange in my opinion and made the tortilla soggy. If they just put the sauce on the side it would have been better. But I just ate the meat inside and the non soggy parts and it was good.
