"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit! The owner runs a wonderful establishment and they make you feel like you’re apart of the family. We started with a nice and flaky and stuffed beef patty. Then had their oxtail and chicken plates and both were full of flavor and fresh tasting. The cabbage, rice, and plantains were a great addition to the dish. The portions are more than generous, we barely had room for dessert. Their cinnamon and lemon cakes were a nice touch at the end. Stop by for warm hospitality and delicious food. 100% recommend."

I absolutely love this restaurant! My meal was delicious and prepared exactly how I like it. They even surprised me with some plantains and a freshly baked cinnamon coffee cake! The owners are wonderful. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely delicious food. Definitely more than enough food for the dollar. The entirety of the staff made sure our needs were met and then some. Again savory food very friendly and homey atmosphere. An all around great experience will definitely be coming back.

The owners of this restaurant are incredibly kind and generous. We arrived just one minute before closing, and they switched their lights back on to let us in and take our order. The food was EXCELLENT! Everything we had was well-seasoned and authentic, and the portions were generous. It's a truly wonderful place to eat! We will definitely be returning! View menu

The most AMAZING food in Ocala hands down! You can honestly taste the love and hours the chef puts into each dish! The oxTail wow, Unlike anything Iv ever tried! Besides that the owners are the most hospitable people we’ve ever met, the service was incredible. I’m serious when I say I had to waddle out the door after everything we ate, some of the best food Iv had in a long time!

This restaurant is an absolute gem. The food was incredibly delicious; the beef patty and oxtail with all the accompaniments were truly finger-licking good. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the hospitality we received, even though we arrived just before closing, was exceptional. Thank you to the entire family for providing us with such an amazing Caribbean experience. We hope to see you again soon!

The food is amazing, and the portions are large! The oxtail were tender and delicious, the patties are crispy and flavored well, the jerk chicken is tender and so full of flavor, especially with their pepper sauce, and the plantains, rice, and peas are phenomenal. And the coffee cake for dessert is full of flavor and has amazing texture. This is now one of our favorite places to eat!!! Will definitely be back again View menu

This was my first time eating at this restaurant. Appearance, the parking lot is well keep, this restaurant is well kept; upon entering I notice the floor, and tables are very clean, no flies or odors. Customer service was excellent, received food timely. I ordered lunch, had more than enough for dinner also. The management is very caring, checking to make sure all was well. Offered a free sample of desert; It was very good.Parking: Easy access.

The food is horrible, it’s a disgrace to the Jamaican cuisine. They can’t even cook rice, the vegetables taste like It was soaked overnight in salt water. Ordered steamed fish I got fish covered in curry paste. Whoever is the chef needs to be banned from cooking. Whoever commented on the post don’t be trying to say I’m lying bcuz I always have proof. This is the steamed fish you guys sent me. If y’all need help I can have a cooking class free of cost. Just to save my country cuisine from you people.

"Disappointed: Four of us dined there last night, and walked away very unimpressed. We each ordered an appetizer and four entrées, and a glass of wine ahead of time. The foie gras and escargots were nice. The imported French cheese plate had a Manchego, a Comte and another goat. Manchego is from Spain and the goat cheese was not French that we could tell either. You would expect a nice double cream, etc. These seemed like Sam’s buying club bought cheeses. When we asked the waiter. he really just shrugged his shoulders. We also also ordered the steak tartare. House grind good, but Very bland there should’ve been some seasoning mixed in with the meat. As for the entrées, we ordered a beef Bourguignon, which was the best of all four entrées. The mushroom Tajine, which was just used to serve the meal. It was not used to cook the meal in as customary. This dish lacked proper seasoning, and missing walnuts. the brie cheese they did put in should have had the rind cut off. I ended up with strands of rind in my dish. I did not finish it. We also ordered the cassoulet which was pretty clear they used canned beans, the duck Confit was not confit but roasted. It was served with a sausage that was std didn’t even ask or see the pork belly. . And lastly was the chicken airline breast. The Cremini mushroom demi glace, did not taste homemade but very familiar to a canned soup. I’m not happy having to give this review, but after spending over $300 on this dinner, I expected a better meal. One of our dinner guests that evening was a chef so maybe that didn’t help?"
