This was my first time trying mofongo, and I loved it! The pork and rice were delicious as well. What a fantastic place!

"Even with a large party for a birthday dinner, this was a very nice dining experience! Our server was very thorough and patient without rushing us or making us feel like a burden. Our food came out in a timely manner and everyone got the correct orders.Appetizers and salads came out first, then entrees just as they were ordered. The fries were definitely homemade and fresh! Igot the tri tail, which was the special for the day and it was amazing! The fish wasn't too salty, the sauces brought all theflavors together and the dish was more than filling for the price. "We ordered the spicy chicken and waffles and the K Street Breakfast. I usually prefer white meat, but the chicken served was a fried thigh. It tasted good, though I think it could have been a bit crispier. The potatoes that came with the K Street Breakfast were quite tasty! We also enjoyed the pineapple mimosas. We look forward to returning to try the lunch and dinner menu."

"Have eaten here several times. Was surprised that with a reservation we were still sitting at a booth looking into the kitchen. We could have asked to be moved, but we didn't want to. The waiter was very enthusiastic, but failed to fill glasses of water without being asked. My husband's lasagna was a huge brick in the middle of an unadorned plate. A little salad or something green and crispy would have been nice. Not an à la carte fan, especially when it comes to the price of the main course alone. The room was very dark and a bit noisy. I would ask not to sit in this area another time."

"I came here with my brother after seeing some very positive reviews. We both got the combo chicken shawarma and gyros plate and all the things I read online were true! It was some of the best mediterrenean food I've ever had and this was complimented by the great service we received. The portion sizes were huge and the food was authentic and delicious! The restaurant is located in a nice spot with a good atmosphere. I'll definitely be coming here again perhaps with some more family."
