"I HAVE BEEN COMING TO TURO TURO EVER SINCE THEY OPENED FOR YEARSSSSSSS!!! THIS IS THE SPOT!! TURO CAFE AND GRILL serves the best TURO TURO (POINT POINT in Tagalog) Filipino food right off the Geneva exit across Balboa Bart. The food definitely reminds me of home. HANDS DOWN THEY HAVE THE The BEST HOME COOKED Filipino Food in the CITY! Every single dish is always on point and does not miss.Their Bilo Bilo GINATAANG for dessert and it warmed our stomachs it had sweet potatoes, jack fruit, and my favorite glutinous balls.Their spinach laaing has easily become one of my favorite dishes instead of using banana leaves the spinach is much lighter and I could literally eat this dish every single day. I went there 3 times in a week to just get the spinach laaing. NOT EVEN LYING the cashier was like wow you must really love it. LMAO BECAUSE I DO!!!!The PORK SINIGANG was warm and soothing with the perfect amount of sourness the pork was fatty and tender. Perfect anything or when the weather is foggy/cold/chilly.I LOVED HOW THEIR DINUGUAN had fatty pork belly pieces and tender meat and it was fresh, very clean, and delicious. Sometimes, Dinugan is old and rancid, but Turo Turo's is always so fresh! CHICKEN AFRITADA and PORK and CHICKEN BBQ skewers were so tasty as always and always on point.Being Filipino I am honestly so sick of pancit, but I actually really like their pancit! It is soft, flavorful, and I can never not stop eating itMECHADO and BISTEK were meaty, tender, and perfectly seasoned perfect with rice.Next time I will try their silogs (breakfast) and other non Filipino food dishes and update my review."

I ordered the peanut pork stew (Kare kare?) and the chicken adobo with rice and noodles, and everything was delicious. The parking right outside the restaurant was very convenient. The prices were reasonable.

Not very happy...I ordered Nilagang Baka and this is the size I get...barely any food...it normally comes in a slightly bigger container...its literally a bite and a half...this container is more for like sauces than food. View menu

If you're craving authentic Filipino cuisine, this is the place to go! Make sure to arrive early because their lumpia sells out by lunchtime. The chef's skills are top-notch and I'm grateful that this restaurant is conveniently located near my workplace.

This place is amazing! I ordered large kare kare and they ran out. It was honestly only like 0.5 inch from the lid. I would be content with this amount. They went out of their way and added an order of bbq chicken to make up for it. I am smitten. This place is just awesome! ? ?

This place used to be a 5 stars for me, both before it was Turo and even after a bit into the pandemic. The quality feels inconsistent now. They run out of pancit and other dishes often. This time it was at 1PM. BBQ pork recipe has changed. It's soaked in their sauce. More lean, less tender. View menu

Ordered catering for my daughters 1st birthday it was a big hit! Not only was the service easy to order and schedule (although they forgot to include the warmers for us to borrow) we enjoyed their food everyone asked us where we ordered from. We got Pork sisig, chop suey (for our vegan friends) BBQ chicken Pork, Shanghai lumpia (100pcs) and Kaldereta. Their Kaldereta was sooo good, it was the first thing gone! Definitely would order again, for the price quality of food was well worth it.

This restaurant is good, but they are cheap! I ordered a medium dish from the waiter, but before taking my order, he had someone remove some food from the two plastic containers that were already filled for a take-out order. I overheard him saying that it shouldn't be too full and had the food removed so it was below the line, which was only a quarter of an inch from the top. How petty can you get? My order ended the same way. This place could learn from FilAm Resto, where they fill the containers generously. That's why FilAm is always busy. Don't be so petty!

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
