Fast, friendly service. Incredible food and portions at low prices. I wish it was open later!

Stopped here as tourists for breakfast and enjoyed the friendly, laid back vibe! Will return next time we are in town!

Always does the job. Tiny diner with solid food, changing specials, and a fun surprise for first-time visitors. One of the most cost-effective sit-down spots for breakfast in Boulder and one I've never been disappointed by.

I got the bacon with two country-fresh eggs and hash brown. The bacon were crispy and the eggs were good. The star of the show was hash browns, they were golden and tasty. The toast could have been better and the coffee was on the light side. Very reasonable price.

Great to so diner. Shanna was so cool. We were able to get seats at the counter. The best omelettes ever. I was obsessed with the iced coffee, silky smooth, not bitter, no need to add milk or sugar. The Village coffee shop is a classic and may be the best breakfast spot in Boulder and possibly of Colorado. I think this team has worked here for the last 10 to 20 years, they have it down. Don’t tell him it’s your first time in unless you like to be the star of the show : One of the last greasy spoon diner vibes around. Guaranteed to be great!

It’s five stars because it’s perfectly what it needs to be. It’s homey, it’s classic, it’s greasy, it’s everything you love about a…”dive diner?” It’s a symbol of an ideal America, slinging eggs and hashbrowns to an appreciative clientele. Delicious breakfast staples quickly served over the counter or to a charmingly small booth table. Tell them it’s your first time.

As a European, who's only seen American pancakes and diners on shows and films, this was exactly what I was looking for. It is smallish (there are tables outside as well), crowded and has an open kitchen, so you can see and hear almost anything going on. The guy waiting on us was really friendly and helpful (and patient) and we got just what we wanted: eggs, bacon, links, pancakes, coffee and full stomachs. Yes, they charged me for the coffee, but that's normal from where I'm from, and I did get as many refills as I wanted. View menu
