"the ellis island pub and cafe is one of my favorite restaurants in las vegas to the breakfast. it is from the strip, but near the strip. they can go to the restaurant when their hotel is centrally located on the strip, but it will be a walk, especially if they are not close to foot. I ordered the classic breakfast, which came with 2 eggs, 4 slices of speck, homemade breakfast potatoes and 2 slices of roasted brot. I just prefer well together, and the cook has not overtaken a great job. the speck is “from the chain”! perfectly crispy and not burned. the early piece of kartoffels were seasoned well. no salt and ketchup needed and the butter on the toast was crushed melted butter. an awesome restaurant to breakfast, and the waiter gives impeccable customer service and the best is that the price for this great meal was not more than $13. we were on Monday, so we had no waiting time. but we were at a weekend, and I remember we waited no more than 30 minutes. it is just one of these hidden gems tourists missed. I know that my photo may not be impressive, but I was just thinking that I forgot to take my photo first. a must stop the breakfast restaurant!"

Delicious food! We split the Chicken fried steak (pork cutlet) with mashed potatoes, garlic green beans and delicious chicken creamy soup. Waitress was friendly and fast food was delivered hot. Everything was well priced we paid around 11.99

I truly enjoyed the food here. Was served by Sean at the bar. I was by myself both times. First day I had steak and eggs. And then chicken and grilled mushroom. The price was very reasonable compared to every place on the strip and more of a home cooked meal. So it was thoroughly enjoyed. View menu

I had the best rib dinner with mashed potatoes, accompanied by garlic green beans. I also ordered a salad with Italian dressing, and their Italian dressing is absolutely delicious! I'll definitely return the next time I'm in Vegas. The prices are very reasonable, too. Our waitress, Ashley, was fantastic!

Underrated!! This place deserves more recognition!! Prices are reasonable, good portions, delicious home-cooked-meals type of dishes. Fried shrimp were big and come with tartar and cocktail sauce, the shrimp aren't dry either. They're cooked perfectly. The prime rib was perfect. The garlic green beans I was skeptical but they were super flavorful, good garlic flavor. Mashed potatoes soft and fluffy.

I give this restaurant 5 stars, even though realistically, it deserves only 1. Why the discrepancy? Because it offers an incredible night out. When attendees are in Vegas and want a break from the Strip, this is the place to go. We paid just $19 for five beers and genuinely enjoyed our dinner. The menu features chicken-fried chicken (which is quite good) as well as chicken-fried steak (but it's actually pork). Get their player's card for an additional discount. The house brewed beer is the highlight for me, but also the steaks for the price can't be beat. The Village Pub is worth a visit and you got a trendy Front Yard restaurant nearby, Metro Pizza and their infamous BBQ to try as well. Sorry there's a bad picture of their sirloin steak dinner (I was hungry and tired after a long day of work). Service is always great here. Parking is free, Ellis Island is worth checking out in general to feel like a local in Vegas.

We were looking for a nice steak dinner without the typical Vegas tourist prices, and we were thrilled to discover this place. It was originally recommended for their steak and eggs special (available from midnight to 11 AM for only $8.99), but we opted for their regular dinners and ended up having the best rib dinner. The price and quality were unbeatable! I upgraded my salad to a Caesar, and it was excellent; the dressing tasted homemade. The service was fantastic, and we left feeling completely full with no room for dessert. Highly recommended, and we will definitely return!
