"We have a reservation on Sunday evening for the 30. Birthday made by a friend. Parking was not ideal and signage on the outside of the building is minimal, but we did not have too much effort to find it as we knew it on the roof! The service was somewhat slow with limited control over us, but all the staff were very friendly and friendly. We felt like they definitely appreciated our business. We ordered a carafe of one of the Sangria drinks, a charcuterie board and a variety of meals. We were all very satisfied with the choice of dishes and taste! We all want to go back and try more on the menu."

Great place to take a drink and eat. Amazing views inside and outside. Food we had was top-notch, view was funny. I don't know where else you want to go to town.

The view was impressive. The rooftop patio was a comfortable place to spend the evening. I really liked that the menu offered mocktails . Atmosphere was casual, almost like a sports bar. Prices were comparable to other hotel restaurants of the style.

Great venue, beautiful view, wonderful service. Food was very good. I had the fish and chips. The fries are great, the fish and slaw were average. But my daughter said her steak was so tender and good. My wife's burger was great with the bacon jam. The chicken sandwich my daughter and son really liked. We went for my daughter's birthday and had a great time.

The service was very slow. I sat there for about 10 minutes without the server even making a drive-by. After all, I went to the bar to get a beer. I order the bone in the pig's stall. It was a very thin cut mostly fat and slightly boiled under. The Brussel spits were dry and boiled. On the positive side I paid 5.00 for bread and olive oil. Overall, I was not impressed and would not go back. There are too many other restaurants in the area. The view was very nice and the Iowa town beer was good. View menu

This my review of the Vue Rooftop. The coconut shrimp was cooked way too long, as you can see. Shrimp doesn't need to be cooked long. The scallops were okay, but I don't even know what they called the sauce, but it had no taste to it. The rice was mushy, and the Brussel sprouts were near burnt. The service was very bad, my dinner companion had to ask for a straw three times. It wasn't busy at 5pm when we arrived. The server didn't offer any desserts or anything from the wine list. I have attached a couple of photos to my review.

Need another view without leaving Iowa, try the Vue. The view of the roof is spectacular. The ambience is from the diagram for a restaurant in downtown, which seems to be an upscale sports bar that serves stylish entrees with a sensational view of Iowa City? Home of the Hawks? the prices are above average, but good in the justification for Entrees who are 4 stars. The bone in the pork stable I ordered was excellent in taste and presentation. The cook is a superstar in the presentation of a duck that meets every brand in taste and taste!

Vue is a great experience for those who love the Iowa City Food scene but want to change their landscape. Being on the 12th floor gives amazing views to downtown and beyond. There is a big city feeling so high. Their drinks menu is great and their selection of food is unique, but not on the wall. There's something for everyone, and the food definitely meets. We shared the Charcuterie, Rindsäher, Mac and cheese and chocolate cake. We were particularly impressed by the Charcuterie and Mac and Cheese. In any case, everyone who Iowa City would like to show their friends and family.

We made a reservation for a friend's 30th birthday on Sunday night. Parking wasn't ideal and signage on the outside of the building is minimal, but we didn't have too much trouble finding it since, ya know, we knew it was on the rooftop! Service was a bit slow with limited checking on us, but all staff was very kind and friendly. We felt like they definitely appreciated our business. We ordered a carafe of one of the sangria drinks, a charcuterie board, and a variety of meals. All of us were very happy with the food selection and the flavor! We all want to go back and try more on the menu.

"As soon as we stepped in, Darren greeted us with super energy. He promptly took our drink orders. The atmosphere felt cozy, and while the fans were running, it seemed like the air conditioning wasn't on—still, we felt comfortable thanks to the fans, although they could use a good cleaning. Darren quickly took our food order, and we couldn't help but marvel at his upbeat demeanor despite the heat. While we waited, we concluded that Stella's was indeed a hidden gem—a place that everyone should be aware of. We decided to start with the "Cheese Eaters" topped with bacon. The fries were hand-cut and arrived loaded with cheese and bacon, resembling a bacon explosion on the plate. They were delicious, though we thought a second frying might make them a bit crispier. Our group devoured them within no time. We ordered three different burgers: the Tingley, which featured green chili, pepper jack cheese, and guacamole; the Beaconsfield, topped with bacon, cheddar cheese, and what we believed to be homemade BBQ sauce; and the Colo, which was a mix of American and Swiss cheese on rye with grilled onions. We opted for raw onions for an extra crunch. All three burgers arrived hot at the same time, accompanied by seasoned hand-cut fries. The Tingley was served open-faced, allowing us to see the guacamole and green chili. The first bite was a delightful mix of cool and spicy flavors— the green chili, guacamole, and pepper jack created a perfect balance of savory heat that complemented the bun's texture. The Beaconsfield was also presented open-faced, showcasing the melted cheddar cheese. The bacon and BBQ sauce promised a juicy burger, but sadly, it didn’t quite deliver the excitement for burger lovers. Although the BBQ sauce was tasty, it felt like any other BBQ burger you could find elsewhere. We were hoping for something more unique. However, even this wasn't enough to deter us from returning. Our last burger was the Colo on rye, topped with melted American and Swiss cheese, and we chose to add raw onions for crunch. We appreciated the combination of raw onions, tomatoes, pickles, and the two cheeses, which created a delightful explosion of flavors with the rye bread enhancing each bite. Our only issue was keeping it all together, but it was still a lovely burger. Despite some minor challenges, we truly enjoyed our time at Stella's, and it certainly won't be our last visit. I'm looking forward to trying their black bean burgers and some of the special house drinks. The service was excellent, even without air conditioning; Darren's enthusiasm never wavered. I highly recommend checking out this little spot just around the corner from Kinnick Stadium."
