"If you need a nice coffee shop to relax in this is the place to do that! Very open and bright and the plants all around give a calming good vibe while being in the big city. The mocha and Americano are delicious and tasted very smooth and fresh! The chocolate croissant was very tasty. The avocado toast was so good! The bread was soft and topped with avocados baby tomatoes and a beet drizzle; so good! The staff was very friendly and helped make the environment calm and kind! Our group sat there talking for hours and made for an enjoyable time! Highly recommend this place!"

Good for espresso drinks. Friendly staff. The kitchen produces pretty good sandwiches. Menu prices don't reflect what you get charged though.

I ordered avocado toast and iced matcha latte. Foods and drink were great. Went there for working while having breakfast, didn’t like the fact that there weren’t charging ports.

V and her crew are among my favorite peeps... congratulations on all you've made! The coffee is great and the blueberry and lemon poppy muffins are excellent especially when eaten together. View menu

Food and coffee are pretty decent. It’s in a good location in downtown brooklyn.Only giving it 4 stars because I was hoping to work for a bit, but there are no outlets anywhere near the seats.

Visiting the city for vacation and randomly found this place. Nice low key atmosphere with great coffee and great breakfast. If I was in town for work and needed a consistent place for coffee/breakfast this would be my go-to. The staff were also very nice and helpful.

We stopped there before heading towards the Brooklyn bridge. The iced coffee and the matcha latte were particularly tasty. The place was bright and had this modern feeling to it. The price is a little bit high compared to other coffee places around. The staff was friendly. View menu

I’ve been to many coffee shops in New York and I’ve even reviewed a few. This one falls short in customer service. The cashier did not listen to me and gave me avocado toast with a missing component. Then this woman came over to the table and tried to charge me money for the egg and said “oh, she didn’t hear you.” The barista was also very rude, interrupting me while I was ordering with “matcha latte?!?!?!?!” The avocado toast itself was average. Nothing to write home about. I wasn’t willing to pay for the egg on average toast. Oh, and a bug fell on my food lol!

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
