"I've been to Lenny's many times and have never been disappointed by the food or service. They're a staple in Colonial Beach that has not fallen away, even through the pandemic. Their breakfast is delicious and has many options at many different price points, hearty and healthy. Service is always quick despite the busy morning rush, and friendly and accommodating. The dining room is small and the seating arrangement is tight, but it adds to the homey feel of a small town diner. Waits on a table are reasonable when they're busy, but they also accept window orders to go for dining elsewhere."

"I prefer a super thin crust, the hallmark of this franchise. The crust is a little buttery, not so heavy on marinara. The meat pizzas are heavily loaded and it is the same with the veggie. These are also rectangular pizzas cut into relatively small squares. When I’m out of town, I like to get a veggie pizza and just carry it around, nibbling as I work.Vegetarian options: I prefer the veggie pizza but only know it’s my favorite, nothing about exact specifications."

"Do not let it slide, visit ya Gotta Dockside!. This scenic, non-small joint at Colonial Beach is definitely a must for anyone interested in the local seafood tariff and entertainment ambience as well as a great view of the water. This is a little chesapeake and a little South Beach! Although we went exactly as they recently opened their Tiki hats in the late afternoon, outdoor bar, entertainment area and bandage make you feel more like in the Caribbean than in Virginia! No matter, even without entertainment, we had a great meal. My wife enjoyed her Fried Scallop plate, the best she had in a while – and she is picky about her scallops! I had her hangover burger, and I have to say, although I had no cat, it was the best I had everywhere! Although the service is pretty much covered and what you would find and expect from such a joint, in such a place, it was overall pleasant. They give you the opportunity to sit under parasols on the unreal beach or beautifully on picnic tables under the covered and much cooler deck. Prices were good, although the quality of their services was superior prices elsewhere. The bartender was even very candied in their preference, no beautifully exhibited American Harvest Vodka bottle (see my picture), the Fried Calamari appetizer was perfectly cooked and very, very tasty and fresh, the 2 Coronas I had more than Ice Cold, and we give both the Fried Scallops and Hangover Burger 4 stars in presentation, freshness and taste. We often visit Colonial Beach and I'm sure we're back to Dockside! You should really try."

"The atmosphere and food are fantastic! They offer a diverse selection of bands, with some truly outstanding performances. The outdoor area with sand is a lot of fun, especially during bonfire nights. The indoor space is also impressive—very clean and decorated in a lively style. I've tried different dishes each time I've visited, and I've thoroughly enjoyed everything!"

"We tried Orchid Thai the week before and would highly recommend that place instead. Food was better and the service was too! See below for our terrible experience. It’s unfortunate because the food was good, but the service was so bad I will never go back. Went out for my birthday dinner. We got our drinks and apps in a normal amount of time, but waited a while until our food. No big deal except when they brought the food, they brought 2 of the 4 plates. We waited to eat and after about 10 minutes, those with food started to eat. After 20 minutes, our waitress was no where to be seen and we asked the other waitress when the sushi plates would be out for the other two people at the table who had not eaten and she said there are two different kitchens so she doesn’t know. 30 minutes later one plate came out and 10 minutes after that, the fourth person got their food. Then, our waiter was still MIA, so we asked the other server for the check and a box. She seemed flustered and mentioned she’d have to get our waiter and went and started whispering to the hostess (manager? about the other waiter and our table. The other waiter ended up bringing us the check (original waiter still MIA and a wet to go container. Then the hostess, maybe manager had the audacity to say “I’m so glad I was able to get you a table” LOL. I wish you didn’t. Worst birthday dinner ever."
