"A few of us finally decided to check this place out, after driving by it an innumerable amount of times each time we went into the city. Parking was a bit tricky, with most of the lot taken up for outdoor seating, but we were able to find a spot. When we got there around 7, it was mostly empty. We were seated pretty quickly. Among the four of us, we ordered some nigiri and a roll to share. If i can remember, we ordered the lean tuna, yellowtail, albacore, spanish mackerel, eel, about 2 pieces per fish per person. The nigiri was a good portion nice healthy cuts of fish. The fish itself was also pretty fresh and the sushi rice was nice as well. The rolls were just okay. Fish portions could have been better there. The servers were friendly and attentive, and checked on our table multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. We asked for more wasabi and ginger and they were happy to give it us (I know this kind of thing is pretty standard, but I saw a review saying that the restaurant denied another reviewer extra soy sauce... which I find very difficult to believe given that there were bottles of soy sauce at each table). The bill came out to about $55/person, for about 14 pieces of sushi per person, putting us roughly around $4 a piece. Would definitely come back to have a sushi dinner when not wanting to have to book ahead or to shell out the $100+ for an omakaze somewhere!"

Amazing food, great service and homey vibe. My favorite was the protein cucumber roll, takoyaki, and black spider roll. There was something off about the scallops but wouldn't say they were bad just not my favorite. Lychee cocktail is

This place has really improved. They had a dip in quality awhile back and we stopped going, but we went the other night and it was great. Very fresh and well prepared. I imagine we will be heading back there regularly again which is great because we live nearby.Food: 5/5

Loved everything about this dining experience. Generous sizing and some of the best tasting sushi I've had, it seemed very fresh and high quality. Greeting was warm and well coming. I did not feel rushed to finish up and was left alone to enjoy my food and drinks. This may be my favorite place behind Sugar Fish. View menu

The food was incredibly delicious and fresh. However, the service left much to be desired. The hot sake was served cold, one of our dishes didn’t arrive until we received our check, and it was difficult to get the servers' attention for updates. Perhaps it was just an off night? I would be open to returning, though, because the food was so wonderful!

Place has gone downhill. Was waiting for over 30 minutes for my order while everyone else at the restaurant, including my dining partner and a table that came in after us got their food. I kept on seeing orders upon orders being put aside for pickup from delivery services while I waited without my food. I asked the server/hostess for an update but she never came back with one until I told her to cancel my order as we hit the 30+ minute mark, at which point I had lost my appetite. If they can't accommodate reasonable service for customers, then they shouldn't be overextending their capacity.

We had a long wait while larger groups came in and finished their meals before we even received our order. Our servers didn't check on us at all, and when we inquired about our food, we were told their system had never registered our order. It was strange, especially since it didn't seem overly busy, and it felt like others were receiving preferential treatment. When our food finally arrived, the fish was disappointingly bland—more like something you'd find pre-packaged at a grocery store. The only reason I'm giving this restaurant 2 stars is because of their tasty cocktails, but unfortunately, I won’t be coming back. View menu

It used to be my favorite go-to spot for sushi in Silver Lake. I order usually once or twice per week. But their prices went up since my last order in March 2022. They might think people don't notice but I do. I was about to order delivery tonight (4/3/22) But when I backtracked previous orders, and compared them, I noticed almost everything I ordered in the past 5 years went up by up to $2 bucks on previous orders. That's sneaky. How they think people don't notice the price increases on almost every item escapes me. Probably Brandon's fault for this ridiculous inflation but I refuse to pay more for less. Sadly, Yakuza just lost my business.

I hadn’t been to this restaurant in years because it’s kind of hidden away, and to be honest, I had totally forgotten about it. My apologies! However, as luck would have it, I didn’t feel like driving through Little Tokyo on a Friday night, so we ended up here, and I’m glad we did—it was really good! I enjoyed a cold large Sapporo, the popcorn lobster roll, yellowtail, and albacore, which were all spot on. But my absolute favorite is always the broiled yellowtail collar when it’s done right, and this one was delicious paired with ponzu sauce. I could have eaten three of those by myself! Now, I’ll definitely remember to visit Yakuza more often.

"I never leave bad reviews when I can help, but from our experience last night I only had to say for dinner as a whole was so disappointing, the least and after the output it was just a complete bill. if they come here for a nice dinner, they have great food or steaks please skip. go somewhere else food: we ordered the oysters, lobster bisque, bread basket (the btw is) and the tomahawk steak with sides. the entire meal was nothing special, characterized by the fact that even though our server always say that its just come out of the often his hot we have the broth basket roomtemp and the lobster bisque as a think. none of them were served hot. I give these stars only because of the tomahawk steak in the middle well, it was delicious. it was a hope that it would be good, right? we ordered the familiar and the brussels sprouts, but it came out, served on small dust sacks. small portions. a little taste. Note: they no longer serve the special measurable and sauce for any steak order. bummer ambiance service: la boucherie is on the floor of the hotel so that the prospects in the night are amazing. server were nice and polite. they were attentive and very professional. everything in all, if I can turn back the time, I wouldn't be here at all. the evening has lost its elegance and prices do not justify the disappointing food. I hope they can fix this and bring back the old la boucherie charme and aromen."
