Without a doubt, this is the best Chinese food in the area. While the decor may be a bit old-fashioned, it adds a charming and fun atmosphere. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Good food, seemed high quality. Our favorite part was the big window into the kitchen where you could see the cooking in progress. The loss of one star is simply because our waiter held himself aloof, which perhaps is expected at a nice restaurant like this, but my preference is for a more friendly interaction.

This is the best Chinese restaurant in Fort Wayne? I 'm worried... It 's not horrible! I mean, I ate everything, and my boyfriend loved it. But...it was pretty bland. Great food for a reasonable price. Best Chinese food you will find in Fort Wayne. People complain about the smoke, but the owners seem to have made an effort to resolve that; there are air filters throughout the store. Can't do much with a cigar shop right next door. If you are looking for a comfortable place to eat great Chinese food, come to Yen Ching.

EXCELLENT food and good-to-great service. Have Been eating here for years and it's consistently delicious. Have brought many people here for the first time and all have stated the same thing--it's the best Chinese food they've ever had. Best Chinese in Fort Wayne, and that I've ever been to. Lunch prices are very reasonable, and the dinner meals are always more food than you can eat!

What brings us back, sometimes more than once per week, is their consistently excellent food and environment.I always know what I will get, and what I will get is always great. Even as servers and staff have changed, the level andquality of service has not. Absolutely fantastic! The serene atmosphere elevates the dining experience. The staff, along with owner Mike, makes you feel like you truly belong rather than just another customer. It feels like I'm the only guest here. The food is high-quality and always fresh. You can watch the kitchen staff behind a glass wall, impeccably dressed and keeping everything spotless. The dishes never have that soggy taste that comes from food sitting in a pan. Everyone should avoid cheap buffets and enjoy the superior quality at Yen Ching. You can really taste the difference!

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in the world. Whenever I’m in St. Louis, visiting this place is an absolute must. The service is always exceptional. The open kitchen design lets you watch the food being prepared, which not only entertains kids but also puts those who care about cleanliness at ease. The food is consistently fabulous; my top choices are the Mandarin Beef and the garlic chicken. No other restaurant makes hot and sour soup quite like Yen Chings does.
