"The staff member at the drive-thru asked if she could take my order, and I went for the classic chicken sandwich combo that was advertised on the menu. She asked if I wanted pickles and Zax sauce on it, but when I asked what Zax sauce was, she couldn't provide a clear explanation. I went ahead and said to include it as it usually comes. Then she asked what I wanted to drink, and I inquired about non-carbonated options. She mentioned caffeine-free Cokes first, but I opted for sweet tea instead. There were two cars ahead of me at the window; the first one took about a minute to leave, while the second waited about four minutes to order. The staff member was polite and friendly; she handed me my sweet tea and asked if I wanted ketchup. I said yes, and she returned in a couple of minutes with a bag and informed me she had included three packets of ketchup, which I appreciated. I found a spot under a tree in the parking lot, opened my drink, and took a sip of the sweet tea. It was perfectly sweet and strong without being overly syrupy; just the right balance of flavor and refreshment. When I unwrapped my sandwich, I noticed the Zax sauce had spilled out in the foil. The sauce was similar to a mild buffalo sauce—tangy and zesty but not too spicy. The bun was reminiscent of a Hawaiian roll, soft but not too much so. The chicken breast was cooked well, with a golden-brown color, and the breading was crispy. However, the chicken was slightly moist and felt a bit rubbery. Overall, it was a delicious sandwich. After finishing the sandwich, I drove toward the 417. When I entered Lake Mary Boulevard, I took a look at the fries from my bag. They were thick-cut and appeared to be slightly undercooked. They had a spicy flavor, resembling a well-seasoned potato chip or perhaps undercooked fries. I continued eating them on Lake Mary Boulevard, and as I merged onto the 417, I noticed that some had a seasoning similar to paprika. I sampled one and found it to be a bit spicy and salty, but they could have used more seasoning overall to enhance their flavor. Despite the mixed experience, I would definitely consider trying Zaxby's again."
