"**Pros:** The atmosphere was eclectic and delightful. Our server was friendly, and the overall staff was pleasant, albeit a bit too reserved for my liking. The service was generally good. I ordered the hamburger steak (without gravy), along with rice and steamed green beans, while my husband chose chicken and dumplings, steamed green beans, and mashed potatoes. The rolls were fantastic, boasting a comforting homestyle flavor and served with cinnamon honey butter. The white rice was simple but decent, and the mashed potatoes were creamy and tasted homemade. The chicken in the chicken and dumplings was shredded, though not overly so, and it came in a creamy sauce.
**Cons:** Unfortunately, the steamed green beans lacked seasoning, and some were still cold in the middle. The chicken and dumplings were overly salty and could have used more seasoning—just a bit of pepper would have improved it. Additionally, I would not recommend the chicken and dumplings for those with gluten sensitivities. The hamburger steak was overcooked, dry, and lacked seasoning.
The prices were quite high, especially considering the quality of the dishes we received. Overall, my experience was not terrible, but it certainly didn't meet expectations given the cost."
