"Fosters Freeze in Lucerne, CA on Hwy 20 (Clear Lake), is a gem for fellow travelers. I ordered a Burger meal and was presented to me picture perfect as well as tasty and it ate cleanly. Meaning, it didn't go all over the place or fall apart. For those Crinkle Cut Fries lovers, this is the place. The fries are golden-crispy on the outside and soft-tender on the inside. The usual drink with the meal. Add on the famous Fosters Freeze Large Vanilla Cone all for the price of Under $13. They will serve you the dessert after finishing the main meal just as they did with me. Picture perfect meal Devoured!!!!!"

"I have been trying to call this restaurant to see if they have the bread I want before visiting, but they never answer the phone. Every time I drive there, the hero bread is never available, and I end up leaving without purchasing anything because they do not have the bread for my sandwich. I will likely try going to Lakeport instead in hopes of better service, as the few items they did have were not fresh and the sandwiches were sloppy."

"My friends and I discovered this hidden gem during a day trip to Clear Lake, and we were thoroughly impressed. The pupusas were incredibly fresh and well-made, and the guanabana agua fresca is absolutely amazing—definitely a must-try. We each ended up ordering two of the agua frescas! I highly recommend this restaurant (and make sure to try the ceviche, too)!"

"My chile relleno burrito lacked flavor. The staff member was not particularly friendly, but we all have off days. I really enjoy Lalo's in Ukiah, and I would be willing to give it another chance to see if my experience improves.
