"This restaurant received many wonderful compliments. The service was exceptional, with our waitress effortlessly reciting appetizer and entree specials from memory. She was friendly, bubbly, and provided prompt service throughout our meal. The food was delicious, with the buffalo tenderloin appetizer being a standout. The white wine was cold, the lobster bisque creamy, and the dessert perfect. While the meal was on the pricier side, it was worth it for the experience of having a creative and tasty meal prepared by a talented chef. Overall, Theodore's delivered great food, service, and experience. Highly recommended."

"When we arrived, the place was packed but, we were able to get a seat right away. Our waiter was also a bartender and I've never seen hustle like that. I'm not sure if that's the norm for a Friday night but, they managed to get our food out in a timely manner. The Bison Ribeye was good. The Walleye was a little plain. All in all, it was a decent place to eat. Just as we were leaving, the live music act was setting up. There were several families, with kids ranging in age, so it's family friendly. Check them out!"

"We only had breakfast at this restaurant, and both the food and service were excellent. The waitstaff is attentive and efficient, without unnecessary delays. Although the place isn't large, which might lead to a bit of a wait, I believe it's absolutely worth it. They offer a unique second pancake syrup in addition to the traditional maple syrup, which I found quite intriguing. Plus, the coffee is above average as well."

"I ordered the Cowboy Combo pizza without black olives and found the overall taste to be exceptionally delicious. The cheese and sauce were good, and the toppings all seemed to be of high quality and fresh. The cheese was a bit lacking in quantity for my taste, so cheese lovers may want to order extra. The price was fair for the quality of the pizza. I wanted to give it 5 stars, but my crust felt a little undercooked in the middle. Despite this small issue, I still had a great experience overall."

"This is not worth the hype. They overcook your meat and the steaks are so bland and dried out that only steak sauce will give them flavor. Beans would be good if they were hot. Potatoes were also cold. Then raw veggies with a not good ranch dressing, are passable, but why not grilled corn on the cob or something hot? The steaks were hot, but again, dry and tasteless. Come slaw—it was nasty. I’m really sorry I spent this much on the food! I even took my steak back asking for rare or med. rare. Nope. What they gave me was the same. No ice in the water or lemonade—so it was warm while the food that should have been hot was cold. We could have eaten in town for less and been happier with the quality of food.Also, let me say that you eat outside at picnic tables after you gather your cafeteria tray and food and so you never know if someone’s kids will be causing disturbances to you (this happened at our table) and we chose one with older kids. They beat on the table. The singing is so loud you can’t enjoy a conversation. I honestly felt like I was eating at the fairgrounds during a state fair. The views are stellar, but outside (hot) and the food make this a no go!"

"What a wonderful spot for dinner! I tried the Badland salad, and the balsamic glaze was amazing! My husband got a steak served with asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes, which were the best garlic mashed potatoes we've ever had at a restaurant—so flavorful! I really wish I could have ordered a double portion just for myself! And don't skip dessert! We went with the apple crisp after the server's suggestion, and the bourbon sauce was absolutely delicious!"

"While the food was incredibly tasty and the service was generally good, we were disappointed that breakfast ended before 11 AM, and we arrived at 10:00. We had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated. It seems the manager or owner decides when to switch from breakfast to lunch, which is noted on the menu (see pictures). Since this was the only place open in the city and we were craving breakfast, it was frustrating. Even if you’re standing at the door at 10:40, you won't be served breakfast. Additionally, it took an hour for our meals to arrive! I ordered the roast beef and my husband had a burger. Again, both dishes were delicious, but waiting an hour for them was quite excessive."

"Maybe best frappe I have ever had (dirty chai with the right balance or space and espresso- not too sweet). Younger staff seemed a bit green (to he expected of seasonal staff at a tourist location) But the slightly older lady who worked mornings is a goddess. Good ice cream, too, and good quality souvenirs and gifts that are actually worth something, rather than just cheap junk. I went here 6 times in the three days I was in the area. Check it out! Dietary restrictions: Vegan options available Parking: Plenty of room in front and on street Kid-friendliness: Yup! Wheelchair accessibility: I think so"

"This is definitely one of the best hamburgers my family has ever had. We initially expected something mediocre and affordable, but we ended up wanting to return again and again. If you're a fan of great hamburgers, this is the place to visit. The combination of ingredients creates an incredible flavor that's simply delicious! The time it takes to prepare them is well worth it, so don't let that discourage you!"

"The food is not homemade, overcooked. Chicken fried steak was hard, over cooked, no engraving with him, and tasted like the liver and onion they had this night. Apparently, they're spraying everything together. The corn came from a can. The Büffelburgers are processed patties, dry and easy as possible. No wine or beer. We paid for our dinner without going to eat it and eating somewhere else. We were very disappointed. If you eat dinner in Medora, skip this place."
