"I’m giving this restaurant 3 stars for its fast and friendly service, but only 2 stars for the food. I had heard great things about this place, and it's usually very busy, so we had to wait to be seated. On February 14, 2022, I stopped by for lunch. The chips and dips were delicious, and the iced tea was nicely strong. However, when the main courses arrived, the experience took a turn for the worse. We ordered three different dishes, and all of them were bland—absolutely no flavor at all. I couldn’t even finish half of mine because it was so tasteless and unappetizing. I’m not sure what style of Mexican food they’re trying to serve—whether it’s Tex-Mex, Mexico City cuisine, or something from coastal South Mexico—but whatever it was, it really missed the mark. In fact, it didn’t even come close! I genuinely wanted to enjoy this restaurant and add it to my list of favorites in the RGV area, but unfortunately, it’s a no-go for me. Marked off my list.
