"When I first moved to the area, I saw the restaurant's flyer multiple times and decided to give it a try, hoping for a cozy atmosphere and homemade food like a charming countryside café. I was pleasantly surprised by The Letter Drop restaurant. My wife and I chose this place for our anniversary dinner. The exterior may be unassuming, but the interior is quite charming. We started off with appetizers - speck-wrapped prawns with hoisin sauce, cooked perfectly with just the right amount of sauce. I opted for the Letter Drop salad with a delicious herb vinaigrette, made in-house. For my main course, I tried the Sortenschild - quail stuffed with wild rice and pine nuts, along with wild boar and venison filet. The dish was accompanied by crunchy glazed red carrots and seasonal vegetables. I paired it with a Robert Mondavi Cabernet, the house wine. My wife ordered the duck, which was tender and flavorful. For dessert, we shared a chocolate and coffee ice cream cake, and I enjoyed a cup of coffee. The Letter Drop restaurant offers a truly gourmet dining experience. The menu, atmosphere, service, and food are all exceptional. Considering that everything is made from scratch in-house and with limited staff, the restaurant is more than just extraordinary - it is truly amazing. Visitors should definitely make a reservation beforehand. If you live nearby and haven't dined here yet, you owe yourself the experience of this fantastic restaurant."
