"Horrible Horrible Horrible Service!!!!! Our server was indifferent at best! We had to go and get our own drink at the bar none was offered. We ordered an appetizer which came with an old toothpick straw paper stuck under it. Not a pleasant surprise! We had to flag down a server to get rolls again none were offered. They brought out but no extra plates to eat them on. Our appetizer also did not come with any plates. Both that and our meals were brought out and dropped in front of us by a rather rude young man. My steak was greasy and more fat than meat. You only get one side for that price you should get two! My husband had to get up and get me ketchup as no steak sauce was offered. The server brushed by and was like y’all want anything? No how is it can I bring you anything nada! I complained to the mgr who did comp the appetizer and my drink. While finishing our meal we watched a couple get disgusted and leave. An elderly Veteran and his wife, they not got service at all!!! Husbands food was good but that was the ONLY saving grace of the night!!!!"

"The server was nice and attentive BUT the food was not worth the price at all!!!! Hush puppies were liquid raw in the middle we ordered onion rings as our side we have no idea what was actually served to us but it definitely was NOT onion rings smelled fishy and what ever was inside was rubbery we had completed what we could of our meal before we got actual onion rings. My sons Deluxe BACON burger had no bacon and was super dry. Fries were soggy. The only good thing I can say is the fried shrimp was not bad. It was a very disappointing as I've heard very good things about this restaurant and drove 40 minutes to come try it."

"I always love coming to this Huddle House!!! We received the most welcoming greeting as soon as we walked in the door. Our server came right over to our table and interacted with our entire family. She was extremely energetic, fast and friendly. She made the restaurant a very family friendly atmosphere. She recommended the Turkey Bacon Ranch and it was remarkably delicious. My husbands burger was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing as well. Our food looked exactly like the pictures and tasted even better. The cook was very fast and had a great personality just like our server. I honestly have to say this was the cleanest Huddle House I’ve ever been in. Never the bathrooms smelled fresh and clean. Our entire experience was phenomenal. We will definitely be returning!!!! This is honestly the best Huddle House I’ve ever been to and the best restaurant in Sylvania Ga!!!! "Who the crew is on 2/13 1-2 pm deserves 5 stars! No one had a name sign for me to shout out. I've eaten here a while ago, was an excellent surprise today. The veils were cold. The rest was hot fresh. The service was friendly helpful. It was the first time I ever got an impossible burger who was the same size as the regular whores, big! I wish it cost the same, but this is not the fault of these people. As good as the Serviice was, it was just as clean! Very appreciated. All employees wore masks. When an employee arrived, she checked her temptation for a mask pronto. I'm very grateful. I don't care if it's cold or allergies I don't want Mt Food to cough. Lol My only complaint has nothing to do with the people who work there. The ladies bathroom stands are too narrow. I couldn't close the door without breaking my back. If this place is ever rebuilt, please make the stands a little deeper. If the door has less than one inch gap from the toilet when it swings... It is too small"

"The girl that started our order didn't even ask us what type of bread we wanted just assumed to give us whatever she wanted.They need to put some microphones in there so that the staff can hear us when we're trying to place our order so we don't have to yell. Had to repeat it several times what we wanted and they still couldn't hear it.The sandwich tasted okay though. The service is not good when you have to repeat yourself several times. I understand they got those tables to be protective between staff and customers when ordering but when nobody can hear you thats bad service."

"I always enjoy visiting this place! My go-to orders are the Mocha Moo Lattes, and occasionally, I treat myself to an M&M Blizzard. I sometimes come here with my youth group, and we always have a great time. Parking is convenient; I haven't had any issues finding a spot. While it might not always be spotless, I don't hold it against the staff—having worked in food preparation myself, I know cleanliness can be a challenge. Thankfully, it’s never so messy that it puts me off from coming back. Overall, I appreciate the dine-in experience here!"

"We are camping in the area and wanted a real meal. This place had great reviews and I can see why. That might be the best slaw I've ever had. Green beans can often be just a so-so side but these were dressed up with the right seasoning to make them special. So often fish and shrimp are ruined by the oil they carry to the table. Not so here. Her recipes are worthy of note. This lady could be going places. I just wish it was my town. I hope to be back soon."

"We discovered this charming little restaurant on our way to Savannah. Although we arrived just 15 minutes before closing, the staff were kind enough to allow us to place our orders and enjoy our lunch. I opted for a chicken Cobb salad with Vidalia onion dressing, and the chicken was fantastic—cooked perfectly and served in generous chunks. I did find it a bit odd that everything else on the menu was described as shaved or shredded. The potato waffle fries were likely the best I’ve ever had; the portion was enormous. We would have given this place a five-star rating if it weren't for the extremely loud rock 'n' roll music. While I didn’t mind the genre, the volume was a bit overwhelming and felt intrusive. On the plus side, the service was very friendly, and the restaurant was impeccably clean."

"I don?t usually complain ?, but this time I am! I had to come to town today to get my medication. So we stopped at Waffle King for lunch. Never Again, and I mean that. I ordered a omelette and water. The omelette had egg shells in it. When I told the waitress she just looked at me like I was crazy. They charged me $8.99 for the omelette and .50 cent for the water. Needless to say I?m not going back. And it?s not the first time we?ve had a issue with them. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. But never again. I?m done!!!??"

When I asked what my options were, they offered to let me choose something else, but I declined and requested a refund instead. They seemed unable to process the refund, so I mentioned that I would contact my bank to dispute the charge. I highly recommend avoiding online orders at this establishment; it’s much better to go in person to check if they have staff or food available. "Flat Creek Lodge is in itself an experience. It's beautiful, it's secluded, and it's rustic. The entire property is expertly maintained and beautiful. The food was delicious, though I could have done without the artistic swirls of hot sauce on the plates. Accidentally mixing that with a bit of lobster was a sad occurrence. The cheese plate we ordered for the table was very good, though I would have liked more variety in the offerings. The one downside to the meal was the service. The server was polite, but not terribly attentive. Several diners sat with empty glasses through portions of the meal, and it took a long time to receive the check. Further, we would have stayed for dessert, but were not asked or provided menus for it."
