"First, we tried to reserve for 1pm, but were told two other large parties were already booked. We opted for a 2pm reservation instead. We originally had a reservation for 30 diners, but dropped it to 20 an hour or so prior because a third of our party chose to go separate to avoid the wait. We arrived 30 minutes early and checked in, but we were told we couldn 't be seated until 2 pm. Then we watched a party of 15 with no reservation get seated after waiting less than 5 minutes. When we were finally seated promptly at 2:01pm. We were seated in the same area as the portion of our party that arrived earlier with no reservation and an extra 10 people (so 20 people seated with minimal wait and no reservation). Finally seated. Waited about 10 more minutes for drink orders, then another 10 for drinks to arrive and to give appetizer orders. The onion fries (blooming onion) was burnt. Finally ordered dinner, and it arrived after a reasonable wait. The food was great, with one exception. The grilled chicken breasts were squashed flat and had the tenderness of a rubber tire. The ribs and shrimp were delicious; well seasoned, perfectly fried, and served with a yummy bbq sauce. All the diners eating the grilled chicken opted to coat it in the bbq sauce and dig in with heavy artillery (steak knife and fork). My jaw still hurts from chewing! If the chicken had been fall off the bone tender like the ribs, i would have still given five stars even though we really felt like we were not seated intentionally. High five to our server, he should have had help, but he did a pretty good job by himself. In short, 1) just show up, dont bother with a reservation, and 2) stay away from the grill chicken breast unless you are working on having a well-defined, chiseled jawline. Parking: Th restaurant parking is not easily found if you aren 't a camper. It could use a big sign that says Restaurant parking this way Kid-friendliness: The kids menu needs a little help, no vegetables or fruit offered. Only fries or mashed potatoes are offered. But we were permitted to sub steamed veggies. Fries still brought out on accident."

"Once we were seated, our server, Cari, promptly took our drink order and returned quickly with our drinks. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. After a little while, she informed us that the kitchen was backed up and that our food might take some time. Just as she mentioned this, another server brought out our appetizer. The spinach and artichoke dip was delicious and had a nice kick to it! A few minutes later, our salad and soup arrived, and I must say, the pear brie soup was fantastic! Cari cleared our plates and apologized again for the wait on our main courses. Shortly after, she surprised us with a complimentary bread pudding that was mistakenly prepared in the kitchen, and it was delightful! My 7-year-old's pizza came out next; Cari didn’t want him to have to wait any longer, which was very considerate. Before long, our entrees arrived. I chose the risotto of the day, and it was outstanding! Risotto is a tricky dish to make, but it was done perfectly. My husband ordered the swine mac, and it was also amazing! Cari was attentive, friendly, and even connected with us on Facebook before our visit ended. Given the quality of everything we ordered, I was initially worried about the check, but I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't as high as I anticipated. We will definitely be returning again and again to try everything on the menu!"

"We arrived like 7:15 3 tables came in after us They were served, eaten and had already paid there bill and we still had not gotten our dinner. It was not busy at all, to where all the waitresses we standing around the register except for the bartender who also had waited on two tables and were served and left. The cashier and the waitress kept looking at us and saying your next NOPE it didn’t happen. When we did get our food my pork chop was so tuff I couldn’t cut through it with out putting all my energy in to it and then I was unable to chew the meat. My husband’s steak was ordered med well that is not what he received it was more blood on the plate to where neither of us could eat our dinner. Then several waitress's came over apologizing for how long and the quality of our dinner. The one waitress said she would tell the cook , it was like our dinner was the least of anyone problem we were very calm and nice through this whole situation. Neither of us ate , we did eat our potatoes. asked for 1 take out container and just slid our food into the container at that point the waitress looked at us strange we paid the bill and said our dogs can eat this food. The waitress said you might should go to the Washington, Nc Rib Eyes … my husband thought that my pork was a piece of chicken We eat at your restaurant several times a month. After this last experience, I wonder"
