"As a native Staten Islander, I usually don't frequent restaurants on this side of the island. However, I recently tried Canlons for the first time on September 16, 2023 with my wife and another couple. Despite being an old school style eatery, we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and extensive menu. The waitress was friendly, efficient, and attentive. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be returning to Canlons. I highly recommend it to friends and family."

"We had the most wonderful event at Alternate Ending for our cousins 50th. Emily was patient, respectful, and helpful every step of the way. Everyone the night of our event was friendly and helpful as well, particularly hard working Eric who ran drinks all night and Anthony who helped make sure we were set up on the tech end and oversaw a great party! Renting the movie theater room upped our party to the next level and I cannot recommend this enough. The pizza and salad package was perfect and the food was delicious. If you want a movie themed night with tons of space with a professional and fabulous feel I can?t recommend Alternate Ending enough!!"

"I've been coming to this place for a fortnight and I can say the experiences have been pleasurable. As I strolled into the main doors I felt the chill of the air conditioning cleansing my soul from the scorching summer heat. As I sat down in the booth it felt I was sinking into a wonderland of comfort and relaxation. When the friendly and attentive staff provided my alcoholic beverage, it was as cold as the Rockies and replenished my health. The food was breathtaking from the soft buttery brioche of the burger to the tender and perfectly cooked meat that made up a patty sent down from heaven from the lord himself. I highly recommend Tavern 19. I would like to give a special thanks to everyone who made my experience here the most pleasant dining of my time living on American soil (especially the girl with the lisp). My only regret is that I can no longer look forward to eating out because it will not fill me with the joy that Tavern 19 nurtured me with."
