I was thrilled to discover that there are now new vegan options available in Matawan! The food and atmosphere were fantastic, and this restaurant definitely deserves our support.

This is the best vegan burger I have ever tried! The restaurant offers a variety of delicious options such as pretzels with vegan beer cheese, vegan Caesar salad, and pizza. They also have fantastic beer and a fun atmosphere.

The California Dreamin Burger is a classic. It brings to mind In-N-Out's animal style, but with a unique AE twist. The Philly Cheesesteak has a bit of a kick from the peppers, making it worth a taste. Overall, it was another great experience. View menu

The atmosphere of the restaurant is fantastic. I really enjoyed the pizza! Both the original and Cornholio pizzas were incredible! The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely be returning and recommending this place to my family and friends!

I'll lead with beer and pizza...I could probably just stop there cuz really is there a better combination. But in this case, their beer and their pizza was absolutely fantastic. Great atmosphere superior service and absolutely not a bad beer on the menu. I even picked up a few knick knacks at their gift area and I'm looking forward to my return.

Fantastic food, with an extremely clever atmosphere and recipes. The cheese curds with the hot honey were amazing, so were the Elote fries, (Mexican street corn on fries is a clever and amazing food concept). The burger was simple and very tasty, and the beekeeper honey pizza was delicious. Lastly, the Pumpkin rice pudding was out of this world. Will definitely be coming back!!! View menu

I have been to this establishment twice now. Each time brought an amazing experience. It's in a fantastic town and has every type of atmosphere of a good brewery and restaurant in one. Everyone was very pleasant and nice. Our server Veronica (for the second time) was absolutely amazing. Always making sure everything was right and we had whatever we needed. She made the experience great each time. Definitely look forward to coming back for great brews, amazing pizza, burgers and great service. Thanks so much!

When my son chose this restaurant for his birthday dinner, I was initially skeptical after looking at the menu—kale? Vegan? Gluten-free? But since it was his special day, I went along with it. I ordered the white pizza, and wow! It was incredible. Everyone at the table took a slice and raved about it. The crispy cheese on top paired with the ricotta and mascarpone in the middle was heavenly. The service was impeccable, too; they even brought out a birthday cake without us having to ask. We made sure to try the fried apple pie as well, and I’m so glad we did—it was delicious! No complaints whatsoever; everything was fantastic!

We had the most wonderful event at Alternate Ending for our cousins 50th. Emily was patient, respectful, and helpful every step of the way. Everyone the night of our event was friendly and helpful as well, particularly hard working Eric who ran drinks all night and Anthony who helped make sure we were set up on the tech end and oversaw a great party! Renting the movie theater room upped our party to the next level and I cannot recommend this enough. The pizza and salad package was perfect and the food was delicious. If you want a movie themed night with tons of space with a professional and fabulous feel I can?t recommend Alternate Ending enough!! View menu
