"I am disabled and recovering. And a senior to boot. It was a Lil past my mommas birthday. She wanted me to get her some food. She's 85 and it was her birthday. I called 3x to order her food. Theresa answered my call. She said she couldn't hear me. I got in my hoopdie,(2007 Ford) and drove a bit to get her request for food. I ? a young lady, going into said place, she ? me if I called, yes I did have right tn(worked at AT&T). She went in, picked up her order, I went in behind her. Used my cane 1st time, did not fall, or faulter my words. Theresa took my order. I ? Slice of cake, (for my momma). She said lemon, I ?price, she said 4.50. I did get breakfast 2:30amish. Took home, and ate it. Made my momma new breakfast. Dix Coney Island disappointed me 1st time since they opened in 1987. 5 $1.00 USD on wall to verify. I'm OK with that. I've lived in LP, MI most my life. I am humbled, grateful &exhausted. Highly dissatisfied with this experience, compared to all previous years of sharing w/others about great times there. I am mystified, 1st time ever???"

"After a week-long river trip, I was looking for a place in Monticello that could provide a hearty and satisfying dinner. Doug's truly delivered! The nachos were nearly a meal in themselves, and the guacamole was outstanding, while the salsa was perfectly balanced. I opted for the Diablo Burger, accompanied by a side of potatoes au gratin. The waitress had mentioned that the nachos could serve as a full meal, but I was quite hungry. The bread on the burger was essential, and it was excellent! The burger itself was a generous half-pound, incredibly flavorful, and cooked to a perfect medium. The potatoes au gratin were delightful, boasting a fantastic texture. The restaurant had a warm, family-friendly vibe, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. I'm really glad I decided to stop by!"

"This place is quite intriguing. At first glance, you might expect to find nothing more than average burgers and similar fare, which would be perfectly fine. The tables in the bar area are small, making them great for a date, but a bit cramped for four people. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive, though they are busy enough that they don’t check in on you every few minutes—they already know how things are going. Once you start eating, it becomes clear why there’s always a crowd, and you’ll be glad you arrived five minutes before opening. By the time you finish your meal, there's a line stretching out the door. We like to come here for anniversaries or birthdays when we're looking for something truly special."
