"I am generally careful before giving a five star review, but this place has me teetering a bit between four and five so I felt a more in depth review was in order. I think that Der Dutchman does a very good job at what they do. They have a decent bakery and store in addition to the restaurant. The food is a decent quality, I have never had bad service and the restaurant is very clean. I can think of no reasons to dock it a star. However, I do think what they provide can be found other places at a higher level of quality and taste. However, that would mean possibly going to three different places to get what you can get under one roof here. What Der Dutchman provides is a home cooking baking experience for a good price with good quality without driving up north to Holmes County and there is a lot to be said for that. However, if you want a donut or pie or roast beef on their own, you can find better. It is just going to be a little looking around."
