"I can't assess the food since my experience was marred by the service. We visited on a Saturday and understood that the restaurant was short-staffed, but we ended up waiting over an hour for our meal. When I inquired about the wait time, the staff member informed me that it would take a bit longer after they served a couple of customers who arrived after us. We ultimately decided to leave and cancel our order. When I asked how long the kitchen had been searching for our order, it became clear that it had been lost. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. We love Highway 55, but they need to improve their service."

"On February 21st, I placed an order for a Hamburg steak plate, requesting it as described on the menu. However, when I picked it up, I received only fries instead of the Slav and fries I ordered, and the Texas Toast was just regular toasted bread. Additionally, mushrooms were added, which I did not order."

"I went in to hwy 55 today with my girlfriend and our daughter and it was not the best experience at all when we went in the floors were really dirty and gross and the menus had stains all over them we proceeded to order and when my food came out it looked burnt and gross and I asked them to remake it and the manager refused saying if I didn’t like it I could leave his store so I refuse to eat and just waited for my wife and child to get done eating we also smelled cigarette smoke the whole time we where there and after that we tried to order custard and they said they were out of custard which doesn’t make sense to me so as we were leaving we overheard some of the staff talking about quitting and how bad it was in the store to work all and all it was probably one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a restaurant and I won’t be returning I hope something’s done soon"
