Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes Fries

the employees in this restaurant are the best part of it! that also eat, but the workers are super nice!

The food was totally bad, the bread was unpleasant, I believe it was several days old, jerky, I will not go back to this place

Don't have Hot Sauce! and is in the same shopping center as Walmart for just 2$ I had to walk over there and get a bottle something the management should have done... View menu

this place used to have a great service. because we have a new job we had problems with 3 times, to which we will not return. her name is alex and she seems to be a kind of manager. I hope the owner sees it. I will not come back, and a friend of mine and their other coworkers don't like them either. she loses you. she is also racist.

two burgers ordered. they were thrown together. missing speck and tweeper rings. the other missing bake. when I brought this to their attention, they made me 2 slices of speck for both burgers. I mentioned that both burger speck needed and they had to cook a second order of speck. overall not satisfied with eating. it was very bland, dry. 2 stars to give was generous today and I gave this because the young lady waiting for me was exceptionally beautiful for my order. they were out of the feet, so I decided for the Cheeseburger meal. they were very cold. I also ordered an salad with baked chicken. a lilsalate and a boiled egg were in a bowl. no chicken, speck or dressing as described in the menu. the half of the order with the fries and the intervertebral rings were the cold and the intervertebral rings burned. everything except the cheeseburger was unusable. We used to dine here often but after dinner Friday night I won't be going back for a while. The food was ok. Our waitress was ok but the guy orchestrating the grill and the waitresses was soooo loud. I couldn't hear my dinner guest for him talking. He was throwing sleeves of cups to someone from across the way and I'm sure he thought it was a good time....it was not. It was more chaotic than anything. One of my dinner guest just had to walk out due to the obnoxious loudness that was going on. Needless to say, we ate and left and none of us are interested in going back for a while.

I went in to hwy 55 today with my girlfriend and our daughter and it was not the best experience at all when we went in the floors were really dirty and gross and the menus had stains all over them we proceeded to order and when my food came out it looked burnt and gross and I asked them to remake it and the manager refused saying if I didn’t like it I could leave his store so I refuse to eat and just waited for my wife and child to get done eating we also smelled cigarette smoke the whole time we where there and after that we tried to order custard and they said they were out of custard which doesn’t make sense to me so as we were leaving we overheard some of the staff talking about quittin...

Since there are no locally-owned hamburger places in this area these days, HWY 55 in Mebane has been the one place to go for a cheeseburger cooked in a traditional way unique for this area. I have not been to this HWY 55 in months mostly because the last time, I did not feel the food was as good as it had been. Yesterday at 4:30 PM I was hoping things had changed for the better.
