"I didn't eat in the restaurant. I enjoyed the food overall, but there were a couple of things that didn't quite meet my expectations. I've been on the hunt for a great stuffed mushroom for a long time, as I'm a huge mushroom fan. I really want to taste the mushroom itself while also enjoying the stuffing. Unfortunately, Salonas didn't deliver in that area. The fish sandwich was decent, and the BLT was quite good. Anyway, thank you, God bless, and on to the next experience!"

"I am not sure of the ends and outs of how Sammios gets their Italian recipes but the spaghetti is subpar, the bread came out of a bag with no garlic or butter and just regular old bread. The salad is fresh. Thank God but this will never be a place I would come back to. I don't feel the love inside the restaurant which is old and run down and has a weird smell to it. And the care of the food is no care at all because I cook from scratch. I know what from scratch food tastes like and this wasn't it. I've gotten better spaghetti plates from my cafeteria lady when I was younger, than Sammios. I don't know and it's annoying to read the ratings and try to pull and pick from over a thousand people still giving it a 4.1 without the owner or the manager or whomever to not comment on any of the comments to let people know that you're trying to do and be better is wow to me. I know you guys have been in the community for a long time and I know you had another restaurant open but I just feel like this one just lacks the care. When I came to Sammios years ago, the food was delicious so I'm not sure what happened from then to now. I feel as if Sammio's is one of those restaurants that is just getting by because of their name they feel they can get away with just being subpar. I don't know. I was just really disappointed. The staff was kind and nice so I didn't have any problems with the staff. Just the rundown restaurant, the weird smell and the subpar food. I hope you guys do better!"

"Sicilian lI is one of my favorite restaurants on the Gulf Coast and my favorite Italian food of all time. Chris has carried on his father’s legacy and this restaurant is rich with family history and delightful dishes. The staff is always warm and friendly. All the appetizers are fantastic but I cycle between the Saganaki, Fried Mozzarella and Fried Zucchini. So Good! The Lasagna is one of my favorites and the best I have ever had. It is spiced to perfection and you can taste the fresh ingredients. This recipe has been in Chris’ family for over 100 years. It is a must try. The Chicken Parmigiana is also one of my favorites along with the Scillian Pizza. The cheese cake is also the best I have ever had and the Chocolate Mousse is a very close and the Tiramisu is amazing as well. They take reservations and you can bring your own wine. If you have not tried them yet you are missing out."

"This was the best Gyro I’ve ever had. It was affordable, hot, fresh, and delicious. I used online ordering and created a timed order and it was ready right when I walked in the door. The service was excellent and friendly. As I ate my Gyro, I was in love . It was the perfect amount of food for a “hungry lunch” and I was almost sad when I finished it that the amazing experience was over. Until I reached into the bag and found a SURPRISE! a perfectly sugary and delicious doughboy waiting for me that I did not know came with the order. That was the perfect size as well to cap off the Gyro for a delicious lunch. I can’t wait for my next time at Townies!"

"I am originally from Seattle, and I recently had the pleasure of trying the best gyro I have ever eaten. The salad was so large it was bigger than my head! The restaurant had a beautiful hometown atmosphere, friendly staff, and our food arrived in less than 5 minutes after ordering. The owner, Stavros, and his friend welcomed guests of all ages, making everyone feel comfortable. Stavros took the time to chat with me and even remembered our orders. When I complimented the food, he responded with "stin kardi," which means "in the heart" in Greek (he even taught me a Greek phrase!). I would give this restaurant 10 stars if I could."

"As a middle school student who visits this restaurant from time to time, I can confidently say that the food is excellent, the service is quick, and the staff at the counter are always friendly to me. This place is fantastic, and I highly recommend it. The bathrooms are clean and surprisingly well-maintained for a pizza place in the city center. The fries and pizza are both delicious, they provide cups for 2-liter bottles, and there is plenty of space with lovely seating. That wraps up my review."

"The first time I used Cordello's they didn't believe I wanted my pizza WELL done as in edges burned,when it was delivered I sent it back, and the one they brought back was perfection and EVERY pizza I have ordered since has been the same. "I had high expectations, but unfortunately, I was let down. The cheese pizza lacked tomato sauce, and I'm not even sure if there was any at all. The crust was decent but could have been cooked longer. The amount of cheese was generous, but it overpowered the pizza due to the lack of tomato sauce. The wedge salad had plenty of lettuce and tomato, but was lacking in blue cheese and bacon. The service was okay, but not particularly friendly. We will not be returning in a hurry."

"I placed an online order today around 3:45 PM, just before the restaurant opened at 4:00 PM. My order was ready by 4:23 PM, and everything was perfect! The food was exactly what I ordered. The pizza was fantastic, and the Calzone received two thumbs up from my husband, and I wholeheartedly agreed. The garlic knots were made with fresh dough, just as they should be, loaded with butter, garlic, and parmesan cheese. We had also requested some extra toppings, including fresh mozzarella, and they fulfilled all our requests. The in-store pickup experience was very pleasant. We’ll definitely be returning soon!"
