"Quick Links: Menu/Online Ordering [hidden link] The Space: Sammy Carry Out is a pretty small space. It doesn't have any seating but an atm and standing space to order at a counter. There are menus on the wall and the cashier is behind a plastic/glass guard similar to a bank. Definitely a place where you pick up food or order to go. The Service: The service was pretty standard, the cashier was polite and my order came out pretty quickly. I got 3 things and it took less than 10 minutes. It seems like they do their own delivery, so you could cut costs by ordering delivery directly from them and not a delivery app. The Food: The food was just okay. I ordered the crab rangoon $7.98), shrimp toast $7.70), and general tso's chicken lunch special $10.99). The crab rangoon was alright, filling was kind of low compared to other Chinese restaurants I've had in the area. The shrimp toast was insanely greasy and my stomach didn't sit well after eating it, I would skip on this dish. The general tso's chicken lunch special was decent, the chicken was fine, but the rice was the kind that is died yellow and now actually real fried rice. The lunch special comes with rice and an egg roll, but when I got home with my meal there wasn't an egg roll. Overall, the experience was pretty disappointing, there are some better options in the area like Tsim Young, but not a terrible choice if you need something quick."

"if a bartender does not know them and old fashion in a collins glass with sugar coating bottom of the glass of bartender what they do. he asked the guy about a water and said he was with me that they were banging around on the counter. then they pretend to check on someone if they don't need that he took their glasses I wrote this and still get my scary..Ingredients1/2 teespoon zucker3 dashes angostura bitters1 teespoon water2 unzen bourbongarnish: orange peel steps the sugar and bitter to give a stone glass, then the water is added and stir up. fill the glass with large ice cubes, add the bourbon and stir them gently to combine. press the oil of an orange shell over the glass, then drop in."

"Update: not sure what happened I was literally there a week ago with a great pizza and I even came back this weekend for another one. This second time I got cardboard thin pizza ?no sauce it was literally cheese and bread. What happened ? This pizza is literally thin crust it?s soo thin and bland ?? I guess back to the drawing board for good pizza sorry papa g?s consistency is what bring people back I even drove all the way from menifee ?I take my 5 stars back. First time trying this place I always see it from the freeway! Well I decided to finally try it and it was good! I would def come back I was able to split it half and half which is great a lot of places don?t let you mix pizzas. Loved the sauce and the bread great flavor! I consider myself a pizza aficionado! "I ate the gizzards and they were cooked wonderfully. Not hard but light, crispy and tender. Most places overcook them. The staff was wonderful, informative and pleasant to talk to. The place was clean and upkept. The atmosphere was very much to be desired. There was a church group across the street in the parking lot preaching over a microphone. No idea what was up with that. When I got my food there was a homeless lady that came up to me asking me and others in the dining room for money to eat. I said no and kept eating. Got some food to go and left. I would go back but drive thru only if I did."

"Ownership has recently changed and this restaurant did a U-Turn for the worst. Shrimp are half the size they use to be and now the fish is made with a different batter (large rough cornmeal). It use to be fine and flaky. Coleslaw is now in tiny containers. They also lost almost all of the their old staff that was excellent and very friendly. After three years of being a regular customer I will no longer be going back. Why someone would buy a successful business and change everything I don't understand."

"from any reason the pricing is everywhere on the square, I ordered for picking up on uber eats, price was 50% more than on their posters. When I asked the cook, he said that the prices are correct, but they charge for special question and I don't know what else, but the prices of these accusations were ridiculous. He was also a little rude and thought I complained when I clearly tried to explain what I saw, even showed him and yes, it did not make any sense. "I sadly give 1 star because it used to be 4 stars! The south side location on Pulaski is light years ahead of the North Cicero Avenue location. Bread was a day old and the lettuce was mixed fresh and wilted. Some was good but mixed with old lettuce. The cheese was cut in half so as to use 1 slice for a king size sub! Just couldn’t believe I was in same place. New owners are not honoring their commitment to uphold quality for this great franchise. I challenge others to see the differences. I’m sorry they are nice people but They won’t last long with this lesser quality."

"About a year ago, my husband and I received a menu in the mail that featured Sicilian pizzas. Since we had never tried them before, we decided to be adventurous and place an order. The first time, we got a half sheet pizza for just the two of us, with one half topped with pepperoni and the other half with sausage, onions, and green olives. There was a lot leftover, so now we opt for the 1/4 sheet and still manage to have three pieces of each topping remaining for lunch the next day! Needless to say, the Sicilian pizza has been a game changer for us! It comes with a thick crust and is always hot and fresh upon delivery. Typically, we only have to wait about 45 minutes for our delivery, even on Friday and Saturday nights, and we live out of town. Plus, you really can't beat the price! In my opinion, it’s better than other pizza places around. I’d give it a solid 10/10. P.S. Don’t forget to tip your delivery drivers—they work hard, and gas is not cheap!"

"I am writing while I am angry. I just had a negative experience at Sam 's. My food took forever it seemed to arrive and when somebody put it in the window it sat there. I had to walk into the kitchen to ask that I get my food. When I got it the young man didn 't say anything. I told him I was angry and I would feel better if he at least he said, I am sorry sir it took so long to get your food. He didn 't say that. He said, I didn 't even see your food. No apology. I won 't go back."
