"I've been going to this place for salted duck for several dozen visits, and I have to say that both the prices and quality have been on a downward trend. My wife's aunt discovered this place and introduced it to us, and ever since, I've been buying salted duck at least once a month. I know the prices keep rising, but the lady in charge always insists that the prices haven't changed—does she think I'm clueless? I still give it four stars because I've enjoyed many delicious salted ducks from them in the past, but things have definitely declined over the last two years, especially during COVID. The duck has become saltier, the skin is darker and lacks the usual brightness, and the duck itself isn't as fresh as it used to be. The prices are high too; I bought a rice-stuffed lotus root last week that weighed 1.08 pounds and cost me $23.80. That’s nearly the price of a whole duck—come on! Oh, and whatever you do, avoid the wonton soup; trust me on that one."
