"We made reservations on line for four at 6:30. They were accepted and we arrived on time. The dedicated elevator lobby entrance was closed with a sign stating that the restaurant was closed until October 1, with limited service for breakfast. We went to the Hotel lobby and learned that the restaurant had been closed for several days for remodeling. Our concern is why didn’t Trappers management post this information on their website and share it with the reservation service? LOUSY SERVICE!!!"

"Bier Distillery is a cool gathering spot on the NW side of the city. We met up with some friends for dinner at the distillery. A unique feature of the food offerings are the Dutch dishes which fill the menu. Our choices were the cheeseburger salad and meatballs with mashed potatoes. Both were excellent. We tried the cream soda for a drink. It was delicious.The only downside for me was the road noise. Being a person who needs hearing aids meant my ears were filled with the sounds of tires singing on the road. But that was mitigated by the good conversation for which my table mates spoke more loudly enough for me to be a part of the lively talking.One aspect of the establishment is its full blown menu of whiskey and other distilled beverages. Since we don't consume alcohol due to medical issues, we didn't sample the whiskey.Go ahead, give them a try for dinner and a cocktail. I think you will enjoy it."
