"The cafe has a welcoming entrance leading up to the ordering counter. The displaying of their bakeries and desserts is very eye-satisfying. The cafe's ambience, architecture layout, decorations, large windows and seating deserve kudos. These are no doubt a major upgrade from your regular breakfast from a fast food restaurant. Then it came the part of people and food factor. The staff appeared busy with either their next tasks or distracted with something. I worked in a service industry before and well aware that the lack of training and high staff turnover is a constant challenge in food industry. But there are quick tricks that all customers would appreciate, smiley and friendly staff that keep eye contact with customers.I ordered a croissant sandwich, a piece of baguette and a regular coffee. I think the croissant was lacking the puff and layering effect, the use of fried egg instead of the fluffy and visual color of scramble egg made the supposedly catchy, playful puff pastry a little depressing. However, it was flavorful and delicious. The coffee was not warm enough possibly after staying sometime in the urn? Maybe it was one of those days."
