"We visited the Rainforest Cafe every time we are in the area for our children and yesterday was the first negative experience. We had a reservation but had to wait because there was no server available for our section. When we were escorted to our tables, there were dirty dishes stacked on them, and the hostess continued to put menus and cutlery, we expected to sit. We asked if we could sit on another (i.e. clean) table, and she was super confused and called another host. The 2nd Hostess came and with great attitude said that table was clean and that someone else (not them) would come to collect the dirty dishes soon. I said this was not acceptable and asked again whether we could sit at one of the 20 open and clean tables in the restaurant. She rolled her eyes and let us sit in an adjacent stand. Besides the hard start of our waitress and was sweet and attentive. Eating was okay, but as I said, we're coming because our kids enjoy it. The ladies at the Hostess stand could use a proper training and adjustment."
