"Slo Brew Lofts is indisputably modern, new, comfortable and clean, but I would not recommend to stay there. While the lofts are aesthetically appealing, you can get a hotel of the same or higher caliber with the necessary amenities for the same prices. The lack of sleep and lack of convenient parking is enough to not recommend it. Location 1/5 parking space 1/5. no parking at the facility difficult to load and unload luggage. Noise 1/5 Noise Machine Ear buds and sedatives were not enough to drown noise outside Check in/Check out 1/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Personal Hospitality Customer Service 4/5 Price 2/5 Bed 5/5 Furniture Comfort 5/5 Bathroom 5/5 Privacy 5/5 Security 2/5 Noise: The lofts are located on Higuera St., in the middle of downtown SLO, over a bar with nightly live music and college children until 2 a.m., also on Wednesday evenings. These drunk college kids also hang in front of the loft's entrance when we get back one night. The walls and windows are soundproof so that you can hear all conversations and music! Music under you starts at 8/9. You can feel the bass that vibrates through your body while you try to sleep. At 3 o'clock it is quiet and you can finally sleep, only for the commercial morning Mayhem begins at 6 o'clock. The smell and noises of road cleaning, company unloading truck etc. We are used to loud cities, but the accommodation in commercial districts should use 3 window panes, soundproof and isolated walls etc. Parking: The finding that parking spaces come with the hotel is a false advertising and unacceptable and should be excluded from advertising. There are no parking spaces at the facility, so you need to quickly pull in front of the building to unload your luggage. There are only 2 public white charging zones, so if there are 2 cars there that they were more than 10 minutes at check-in, you cannot guarantee their availability at check-in or check-out. If the places are full, then you are either stuck to circle around the block or parking in the trading zone, which led to both of our cars getting $53 tickets despite us unloading our bags for less than 10 minutes. At check-in we drove several times around the block waiting for the spots to be available so that we could store our luggage in the room, as we did not want to leave our luggage in the car and did not know where the parking was, that we would be able to park (you need to go up to the loft to get the parking tickets and place). With a dinner reservation at 18:15 we could no longer drive around the block, so we parked in front of the two cars in the public charging zone. We took our luggage to the room and came back in less than 10 minutes because our dinner was in 15 minutes. We received both parking tickets at 5:49 a.m., despite free parking from 6 p.m., to the parking space in the trading zone directly in front of the charging zone. At check-out we had the same problem with public charging parking, so we had to wait until they are free, at which point I stood on the parking lot while waiting for my friend to go 3 blocks to the parking lot and return by car so that we could guarantee a viable way to load our luggage in our cars. You will receive a voucher for 1 car so if you have 2 cars that you will likely be as the lofts are 2 bedrooms, then the other person must pay for the parking lot. You can go down to a hotel to the street and pay the same amount for valet and secure parking. Overall, nice concept but I would not recommend staying there. You can spend the same amount on the road for the quiet night sleep and safe on site parking. We go back next month for the harvest season and will decide to stay in another place. Security: I have booked through a third party, Expedia and they have not mentioned that I would communicate directly with or provide payment methods to the owners. I was asked by email and SMS to receive my credit card information to receive check-in details. This made me very unpleasant as I pa"
