"Slo Brew Lofts is indisputably modern, new, comfortable and clean, but I would not recommend to stay there. While the lofts are aesthetically appealing, you can get a hotel of the same or higher caliber with the necessary amenities for the same prices. The lack of sleep and lack of convenient parking is enough to not recommend it. Location 1/5 parking space 1/5. no parking at the facility difficult to load and unload luggage. Noise 1/5 Noise Machine Ear buds and sedatives were not enough to drown noise outside Check in/Check out 1/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Personal Hospitality Customer Service 4/5 Price 2/5 Bed 5/5 Furniture Comfort 5/5 Bathroom 5/5 Privacy 5/5 Security 2/5 Noise: The lofts are located on Higuera St., in the middle of downtown SLO, over a bar with nightly live music and college children until 2 a.m., also on Wednesday evenings. These drunk college kids also hang in front of the loft's entrance when we get back one night. The walls and windows are soundproof so that you can hear all conversations and music! Music under you starts at 8/9. You can feel the bass that vibrates through your body while you try to sleep. At 3 o'clock it is quiet and you can finally sleep, only for the commercial morning Mayhem begins at 6 o'clock. The smell and noises of road cleaning, company unloading truck etc. We are used to loud cities, but the accommodation in commercial districts should use 3 window panes, soundproof and isolated walls etc. Parking: The finding that parking spaces come with the hotel is a false advertising and unacceptable and should be excluded from advertising. There are no parking spaces at the facility, so you need to quickly pull in front of the building to unload your luggage. There are only 2 public white charging zones, so if there are 2 cars there that they were more than 10 minutes at check-in, you cannot guarantee their availability at check-in or check-out. If the places are full, then you are either stuck to circle around the block or parking in the trading zone, which led to both of our cars getting $53 tickets despite us unloading our bags for less than 10 minutes. At check-in we drove several times around the block waiting for the spots to be available so that we could store our luggage in the room, as we did not want to leave our luggage in the car and did not know where the parking was, that we would be able to park (you need to go up to the loft to get the parking tickets and place). With a dinner reservation at 18:15 we could no longer drive around the block, so we parked in front of the two cars in the public charging zone. We took our luggage to the room and came back in less than 10 minutes because our dinner was in 15 minutes. We received both parking tickets at 5:49 a.m., despite free parking from 6 p.m., to the parking space in the trading zone directly in front of the charging zone. At check-out we had the same problem with public charging parking, so we had to wait until they are free, at which point I stood on the parking lot while waiting for my friend to go 3 blocks to the parking lot and return by car so that we could guarantee a viable way to load our luggage in our cars. You will receive a voucher for 1 car so if you have 2 cars that you will likely be as the lofts are 2 bedrooms, then the other person must pay for the parking lot. You can go down to a hotel to the street and pay the same amount for valet and secure parking. Overall, nice concept but I would not recommend staying there. You can spend the same amount on the road for the quiet night sleep and safe on site parking. We go back next month for the harvest season and will decide to stay in another place. Security: I have booked through a third party, Expedia and they have not mentioned that I would communicate directly with or provide payment methods to the owners. I was asked by email and SMS to receive my credit card information to receive check-in details. This made me very unpleasant as I pa"

Although the beer was great... An in house concert is way more important than a paying costumers seat. Manager didn't care about us at the bar, took my husband's seat ..won't be back and won't order a SLO beer anywhere! Going across the street!

Cool rooms, but as others have said, the noise on weekend nights is absolutely incredible. You have specified this on the website, but it is at the point that if you want to sleep before 3:00, stay somewhere else. If you become part of the noise, this is the place for you.

We were prepared for city-life-noise-level, but when the live band kicked off at 9pm the front bedroom of The Vagabond Loft became front row seats. Cute, until they played every weeknight until after midnight. Too bad, the rest of the loft was cool, but having a live band within feet of your bed is just stupid.

The beers were good, I can't expect less for a brewery, but not amazing. The food I had was really amazing, the Growler burger, one of the best burger I ever had! The meat was really tasty, smoky and bacony, covered with onions, cheddar, egg,etc... Highly recommended! (in comparison the fries are not the best... View menu

Very mediocre bar food experience. Didn't expect high end quality but it was still below expectations. Prices were high for low end meat, we got very fatty portions and salad tasted out of a bag. May return for the bar scene alone but feel like there'sbetter options around. Server was very nice and welcoming, at least. No problems with the service side.

For the SLO wedding planner celebration, I had the opportunity to work with SLO Brew Lofts for our annual fundraiser. It was so convenient for our guests as we were the after-party event directly underneath The Carissa and downtown SLO. The rooms were beautiful and spacious with modern fun decor. We will definitely reserve all our customers for their accommodation if you host an event!

Pros: Central location close to great eats, drinks, and shopping. Spacious, comfortable, attractive and well appointed accommodations.Cons: Noise level from the bar/club below the lofts can be intense. I cannot overstate the negative impact of the noise on our stay experience caveat emptor. Parking is a few blocks from the building, which isn't a big issue unless you're not able to unload/load due to street closure for events. View menu

The NOISE LEVEL is INTOLERABLE and UNACCEPTABLEDO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT TO GET ANY SLEEP before 2amWhile at the very bottom of the website it says it can get loud this is a COMPLETE understatement of what you have to endureWe had a six hour drive ahead and had no sleep for the two nights prior. There should have been a complete disclosure of the actual noise levels at the time of booking not just something at the bottom of a website that can be missed.

In short, one of the BEST darned BURGERS in the USA or anywhere! While I recommend going here early to avoid the noise, they do have quite amazing eats. So far, I have loved their Growler Burgers, their Smoky Pork Tacos, and their Crispy Fresh Fish Chips. Each is stellar in their own right one time I ate almost all three with some to take out. Out of the three, theirGrowler Burger is unmatched in it's flavor profile, quality, and ingredients. While their baseline burger meat is a beeftrio house ground wonder. they top that with both pork belly cheddar some more. It is simply luscious filling tosay the least....even sinful. They also have various smoked meat to go. The only drawbacks here are...
