"I ordered and paid for a birthday cake from this location several days in advance. When I was scheduled to pick up the cake, the business was closed. There was no sign on the door stating why. When I called the business, the recording said it was opening two hours late due to the weather. However, I was picking up the cake well over two hours from when it was suppose to open. I had to leave to my son 's birthday party without a cake.I came in later and spoke to the manager on duty about it. She apologized for the store not opening until 2 pm and said it was due to staffing. She brought out my cake which I told her I no longer needed because the party had already taken place. I asked for a refund and she had to call the owner to get permission and instructions on her how to refund me the money. There was no compensation or expression of regret from the owner. The manager apologized but it doesn 't mean much when an important part of the party was missing thanks to staffing issues .I will NOT take my business to ice cream shop. There are plenty others around that have a much better sense of how to treat their customers.One last suggestions would be do not pay for a cake or order prior to picking it up."

"The worst service I've received from a cold stone! We went in to pick up an online order for a cake around 6:30 and the order was placed around 10 in the morning. First we were waiting to be helped and no acknowledgement from the team! Then when they do acknowledge they told us they didn't have the cake we requested in stock! I asked if anyone attempted to call or reach out and the worked said yes but when I told him we had no missed calls or messages he said that he wasn't there when the order was suppose to be ready so how would he know of someone reached out!? This is ridiculous and honestly unprofessional that there was no communication letting us know that's what we ordered couldn't be fulfilled."

"Came in for my doordash order and was told that it was being worked on....three workers proceeded to stand around talking while one girl was mixing up ice cream......when the girl was done no one ever looked or offered to ask if this was my order ......I then went and asked about my order....a girl walked to the back room and brought my order that had been sitting there for well over ten minutes....u might want to know who is making what and do less talking....better communication......since I can't leave another review I will continue on this this one....once again went in for diodash order and waited along with another gentlemen who wasn't acknowledged when he walked in and when someone finally waited on him she abruptly told him to wait while she talked to another employee....waited on my order well over 20 minutes.....your employees all running around have no clue what anyone is doing"

"I absolutely love Cold Stone ice cream! While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the quality of the ice cream is excellent. It's freshly made and delicious, almost reminiscent of homemade ice cream. They offer a wide variety of ingredients that you can mix in, although some of them I’m not particularly fond of, as they don’t have a chance to absorb moisture from the ice cream before you eat it. For example, when you add cookies to your ice cream, they tend to remain crunchy. The location is also great, right next to the Regal Cinemas in Riverstone, making it a perfect treat after catching a movie."

"I'm very disappointed! I called two days ahead to order a custom birthday cake, only to receive a phone call an hour and a half before pick-up informing me that they couldn't make the cake because they had run out of frosting. I asked if they didn’t realize this until late yesterday, and the woman replied, "I guess not." She seemed completely indifferent to the situation! I will never order from them again. Perhaps management should consider better training for their staff!"
