"We were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary edamame appetizer right away, which was great! I really enjoyed their soy sauce, or maybe it was mirin? It had a slightly sweet flavor that paired nicely with the edamame. The hostess greeted us with a big smile and was very friendly and accommodating. The service throughout our meal was good and timely; they checked on us without being overbearing, striking the perfect balance.
In Bay View, we don't have many fantastic Asian eateries, so now that I'm aware of their special vegan menu, I look forward to returning and trying more dishes. I would rate them 4 stars if the red curry had been exceptional, and I wish I could give them 3.5 stars because they are better than average; unfortunately, half stars aren't an option. Who knows? After a few more visits, I might just bump them up to 4 stars.
