"As the shift progressed and the manager was on her own, the place became busier, keeping her on her toes. I inquired about the BBQ sandwich's spiciness, and our server generously brought out a small sample for us. My husband and I were instantly hooked. Unlike many other places, Wright's cooks the beef and BBQ sauce together, creating an irresistible flavor. It was so delicious that when my sandwich arrived, I completely forgot to take a picture!
Our server was attentive and kept track of how we were doing. Our food came out quickly and was served hot. The toasted bun was perfectly crispy. I sympathize with those who may have had a bad experience, but I encourage you to give it another chance. When a restaurant first opens, it can be challenging for the servers, particularly if they lack experience, which might lead to incorrect orders or longer wait times. If you notice the restaurant is busy with very few open tables, I ask you to be a bit patient. The servers are doing their utmost to provide you with a great experience at Wright's.
On January 27, 2019, we visited Wright’s Family Diner again. The special for the day was turkey and dressing with sides, and it was amazing once more! Despite being packed with customers, I saw nothing but smiles on the servers' faces.
