"Went to Athena on the recommendation of the proprietor of the nearby Safe House B&B. Just walking into the Athena, we could not have been more satisfied with the genuine, unassuming atmosphere, an ongoing conversation in Greek between the owner and a group of customers, and the enticing aromas from the kitchen. The lamb and beef, and chicken gyros were excellent, as well as the wonderfully prepared falafel that was served with tasty hummus and tzatziki. The freshly prepared baklava diamond desserts were the perfect way to top off an already excellent dinner. The service could not have been better or more friendly. Definitely will be back next time through."
