"I ordered a stuffed turkey leg that turned out to be dry and devoid of much flavor. The Jamaican cabbage it came with was unappealing—especially with the unexpected addition of mushrooms, which felt random. The macaroni was disappointing, lacking the creaminess I was hoping for, and it tasted bland. As for the red beans and rice, the rice was undercooked, and despite requesting no red meat, there was still some mixed in. To top it off, my food was barely warm. While I received a generous portion for $23, it ultimately felt like a waste of money because I couldn't even finish it.
I debated returning the meal but didn’t want to be difficult, especially since I was in a hurry between client appointments. That's why I have no photos to share, as I normally do.
On the positive side, the service was decent, and the staff were friendly. The atmosphere was what you'd expect from a food truck—simple and straightforward. However, based on this experience, I'm not planning to return.
Parking was plentiful in front of the Grow DeSoto Marketplace."
