"Baby me had a couple hours to kill before he had to go to work. So we stopped for a quick to go breakfast.. but didn't want anything fast. We always see this place, but its been closed. Driving by this morning, we seen it open and stopped. I ordered ground beef scramble.. ground beef, eggs, cheese, onion bell pepper. Served with a side of toast (wheat or white) OR raisin, English muffin or sourdough for additional charge! Mine was super yummy. Looked a little plain when I opened it. But I added my lil hot sauce and soy sauce, salt and peppa. It was bomb! I will next time ask for green onions. That would've completed my dish. I didn't notice it didn't have when I was reading menu. Baby ordered the Aaron fried rice. Consisted of soy sauce, eggs, shrimp (3), ham, bacon, pork sausage green onions. His was defined good, he loved it.. but with the amount of meats he had.. it was a little on the salty side for me.. Parking sucks, it's on street and not much, plus it's on a corner and the turn is tight so I'd watch parking there! There's no indoor or outdoor seating, you order at the window to take to-go. Food was ready in 10 minutes! I would recommend if you're in the area and hungry for some good breakfast."

Don't waste your time and money. Grits were watery, sausage patties thin and poor quality meats. Overpriced for the small portions. Horrible experience.Food: 1/5

Best place to get breakfast from in east bay!!! I have been eating here since I moved to the east bay although I went to the one by eastmont mall and the owner has the same good food here

We just REFOUND, Fongs. We used to frequent the restaurant on Foothill on a weekly basis back in the day.It's been awhile since I've had Cafe La Fongs...aka Fongs.., but they are still very delicious!!!!! View menu

Portions down. Felt played. Been eating at fongs for about 11 years off and on. Hadn't been there in a couple of years. Ordered the kitchen sink with grits like always. Got home and was wondering where the rest of my breakfast was. 80% grits 20% kitchen sink!

This place has the worst, and I mean the worst customer service. Everytime a person who answers the phone she or he says what do you want? I 'm like excuse me. Other restaurants I go to they say Can I take your order please? Or Are you ready to order ? Not, only did this restaurant answer the phone like I was annoying them, they eventually hung up the phone on me. Now, I 've been to this restaurant over 20 times, and I 'm sick of how this restaurant treats black people. Black people keep you all in business, and how do you show your gratitude, you rush us off the phone, and hang up on us.Moreover, I can 't understand the staff, but I still supported the company, and im saying enough is enoug...
