"Are you craving some delectable authentic Mexican cuisine? Look no further than El Burrito! This was my first time visiting for dinner with my family and everything was so delicious! I ordered from the Especiales sign located upon walk-in and selected some savory shrimp enchiladas. The reason for taking off a star was that when I ordered this, I assumed it would come with rice and beans. When my plate showed up with just the enchiladas and garnishes, I was a little disappointed. While the enchiladas were so delicious, I was not expecting a restaurant special to come A la carte. Just a recommendation to communicate this to guests here.We did not get to try carne asada because they were out. Everything we ordered was great, and we hope they are not out of this the next time we visit. I also loved how they offer a kid 's menu with regular kid favorites like chicken fingers to satisfy the littles ' palates :)From the chimichangas, burrito, enchiladas, chicken fingers, chips and salsa everything was great. We would definitely visit again!"

"Custumers be careful, health is a MUST.!!! I'm just here, I spoke to the first customer service staff, I said this is my first time here I'm just trying to connect. My husband politely asked no cheese, he said it was not just intolerance, but an ALLERGY. We became the DISH DOESN 'T HAVE CHEESE ' THE INGREDIENT IS NOT LISTED, then when I ordered, I asked NO CHEESE, again we were mechanically said, DISH DOESN 'T HAVE CHEESE ' THE INGREDIENT IS NOT LISTED We ordered to go, the service was standard at this point. When we left, I realized that I had no forks and napkins on a TO GO order. I drove back to the place, a young man asked me if I had a pick-up to go order and asked for my name, I told him politely to go other not have forks, then I was interrupted by an employee on another cash register, the employee name is DALIA: Extremely RUDE, reducing, to me and to her employee, she said in an illuminated voice and rough body language Custumers, there are many delicious Mexican food in the area, if health is your priority, avoid this place. This place: 1. bad customer service 2. bad communication 3. healthy security requirement not taken into account 4. Read to the customer via his menu 5."

"The food is okay, but not great. I ordered the Papa Rio which has a picture of steak and shrimp next to it with with a price of $10.99. Check the picture, I took. When the check arrived there was something for $19.99 listed. When I checked menu there wasn’t one thing listed at 19.99. So I asked the waitress (who was very nice braces and a big smile) what the charge was for she made a face of embarrassment and said, “the steak and shrimp, it’s a different price now.” I said well you never mentioned the change. She said do you want to speak to the manager and I said yes. I asked the male manager how he could charge me $19.99 when the Papa Rio is $10.99. He said what I got was the steak and shrimp on another page. When I told him I point at the picture next to the Papa Rio he said that the pictures are at random and are not always associated with what is next to them. I asked him to show me what I was given. He points to Steak and Shrimp on another page, with a price tag of $17.99. I said okay well you still charged me more that that. At no point did he say apologize or attempt to give me the $2 price difference. Instead he said “was the food good? Bc that is what matters,” when I asked again about the difference in price he said things are expensive. I would not recommend this place to a soul. He was single handedly the worst manager I have ever experienced on my foodie journey around this world. What he did is illegal. "The Chile adovada was full of flavor and the raspberry iced tea was refreshing on a hot summer day. The outdoor scenery by the St. Francis of Assisi church was beautiful. The sopapillas and New Mexico chile mixed with ground pork were delicious. My husband loved the blue corn enchiladas topped with green hatch Chile. We ordered without cheese due to a dairy restriction, but everything was still tasty. The service was exceptional with a very attentive staff."

"The restaurant was empty but for two old men and us. Only two customers! I ordered chicken milanesas with french fries and salad: they brought me chicken with vegetables and rice. I said : at least discount the salad that you never gave me : sorry, we call the boiled vegetables salad . They did not even apologized. By then we were the only customers. First and last time we 'll go there. The milanesas were good, and that is the only reason I give them two stars. There is no air conditioner ."

"Haven't been here in a while and only came because MI Guadalajara was unexpectedly closed. It took over 5 minutes for someone to appear at the hostess desk to start seating people. Including us, there were over a dozen people waiting some came in ahead of us and some behind us. We got seated and within 30 seconds the server appeared to take our food and drink order, fortunately we knew what we wanted and were able to order quickly. No complaints on the food at all, it came out pretty quickly, was hot and tasted good. Our server never came back to check on us at all. When she did finally come back over it was to bring us our check. When we're not even halfway through our meal and we haven't been asked if we need anything or offered refills to be presented with your check is kind of irritating. The decor is showing its age and the dining area is a little grubby and could really do with a repaint."

"First and last time eating here on 8/14. Was excited but made the mistake dining 30 minutes before closing. Experienced nothing but mean looks from staff from beginning to end..tried to hold a conversation while they slammed chairs on and off tables and splashed smelly mop water on our ankles. As if it couldn’t get worst, my Mother chipped her tooth on a dime size rock which she broke in half from the force of her bite. When we informed the waitress, she nonchalantly confirmed it was indeed a rock from their beans which she admitted they only clean 3 times until “water is clear”. Must happen a lot. Wow. All I can say to the owner and staff..do better, have some integrity or get out of the food business. Thank you for a horrible and traumatic experience. Good luck to those whose choose to dine here. Jerry’s Cafe down the road has NEVER in my 27 years disappointed, let alone had rocks in their food. (Take Notes Gordo’s) They Are Always welcoming too, NO MATTER THE TIME."

"It had been quite a while since our last visit. The service, provided by Nancy, was EXCELLENT; she made sure we had everything we needed in a timely manner. The food was good and matched our orders, although we all thought the rice was a bit too sticky and moist, yet it still tasted great. "Ordered the chicken sandwich, nachos, and peach cobbler. The ordering process is horrible. You order from a kiosk that cannot be customized eg light mayo. The workers would not come from behind the wall so that I could ask questions about my order. Being my first time it was very confusing. The chicken sandwich was horrible. The patty was thin and there was way too much mayo on it. The nachos consist of just chips and cheese. Very very plain. The peach cobbler was okay. Overall, I would not return."
