"The elevated egg sandwich sounded delightful in the description but when it arrived, it was equally over cooked and cold. The avocado on the sandwich, although fresh, felt as if it had just been taken out of the freezer, leaving an ice cold sensation with every bite. To add to this experience, I thought my egg had come without a yolk, but to my surprise, the yolk had been completely cooked through and stuffed to one end of the sandwich. I had to take out the entire yolk as I could not stomach the idea of eating a jelly, sponge-like substance that should have been a runny, gooey yolk. Our server was nice and my mother did enjoy her trifecta plate, as it is hard to mess up scrambled eggs and waffles. I do not foresee myself returning but if I do, I will stick to the traditional breakfast items."

"I had a wonderful experience during my visit. While strolling in downtown Fayetteville, I decided to take a break and grab a cup of coffee since it was chilly outside. I ended up treating myself to a mini cheesecake as well. The coffee was excellent, the food was fantastic, and the customer service was truly outstanding. I wholeheartedly recommend this place as a must-visit if you're ever in Fayetteville. And for those who live in Fayetteville, there’s no excuse not to stop by; it’s a delightful place worth visiting!"

"My wife, adult son, and I had a wonderful breakfast experience at this restaurant this morning. The location was convenient with plenty of parking available. While the exterior of the restaurant was fairly unremarkable, the interior was nicely decorated and the dining area was clean. We were greeted warmly as we entered, and our server was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The menu offered a wide variety of choices, although the prices were a bit higher than we anticipated. The food was absolutely delicious, and the restroom was not only clean but also had a touch of elegance in its decor. Overall, we had a great time."

"With all the crazy good reviews I had to check this place out. The experience was good overall but I think I had higher expectations. I will say the fresh juice I got was absolutely delicious. I also got Parma skillet hash and it was pretty good. I think I was expecting more of a wow from it. The friends I was with had the breakfast tacos and the farmhouse skillet has. They enjoyed their meals. There were quiet a few things on the menu that looked good and I think I would try something else next time. I would recommend this place to someone who hasn’t been here and hope to try it again one day."

"Many will probably read this and will say we've known this all along. Or why did it take you so long to eat at First Watch. I asked myself the same thing at this first visit. I chose the Chile Chorizo omelet as it stood out as different and I was in the mood for different. I noticed right away that everything on my plate was of higher quality ingredients. The omelet was amazing and not overly spicy, allowing for me to add a little hot sauce to it. Which I prefer so to add another flavor into the mix. The mixture of egg, chorizo, peppers, avacado, cheese and sour cream was great. I chose Grits as a side and they weren't your typical southern Grits. They were yellow corn Grits that were served a little thicker, topped with a scoop of butter. They went well with the omelet. The toast was made of a thicker multi grain bread that appeared to have Oats and sunflower seeds. It too was a great complement to the meal as a whole. As you can see in the picture, there is a side of home made salsa to add to the omelet and strawberry jam to add to the toast. They went well on the omelet and toast. My daughter chose the chocolate chip pancake but I chose not to post a picture of her or the pancake. It was thick, light and was as large as her plate. I tried it too and it was really good and made with quality ingredients just like everything else. I had coffee with my meal and it had great flavor while not tasting like every other cafe coffee. Our waiter was great and so was the establishment. I will definitely visit again and look forward to trying another first at First Watch."

"Biscuits and Gravy were legit, but the potatoes as a side were almost entirely raw and drenched in oil. The eggs were also definitely not farm direct as their branding claimed. At least they were NOT fresh. We have a personal flock of free range egg laying chickens, and if their eggs did come direct from farm, they sat in the back of their fridge for a month. Flavorless rubber flavor. Our server Makenzie was great, but way understaffed. One thing is they need to disclose forced tipping. Before you get angry we left a 45 tip. Left a 30 cash tip, and when we went to pay the bill the options were 15 , 20 , 25 , other suggested 30 . I just hope she wasn 't forced to split the tips. I literally tried to flag down 3 other servers, who were just doing walk around checks, and they two looked right at me waving and just straight ignored me. The other server was a blonde and she was so swamped I totally understand her (assuming she) not noticing. TL;DR: Most staff couldn 't be arsed, and I feel bad for the few who are clearly busting their behinds to pick up the slack. And don 't eat the potatoes because they can 't cook them for s# €. "The meals at this restaurant are consistently outstanding. I opted for the pancakes with lemon curd and fresh strawberries, and after years without having pancakes, I was overjoyed with my decision. The lightly sweet and slightly tangy lemon curd paired beautifully with the perfectly ripe strawberries. The pancakes were massive—I couldn’t finish them! "In a landscape filled with overpriced, average food and poor service, First Watch stands out as a delightful surprise. I ordered the "choose two" option, selecting the roast beef havarti sandwich paired with butternut squash bisque, and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I appreciate their seasonal dishes, which add variety to the menu. This has quickly become one of my favorite spots. "We dined at the Aloma location with a group of six, which included one child. Unfortunately, the carafes kept the coffee barely warm, which was disappointing, although no one in our party expressed any complaints. It seemed like everyone enjoyed their food, though. The millionaire bacon had a bit more flair than I remembered from previous visits. I absolutely loved the warm berry compote that comes with the French toast, pancakes, or waffles; that was definitely my favorite part of the meal, particularly the French toast. My dad has been a long-time patron of First Watch and has always ordered the carrot cake — he loves it so much that he’ll often go just to enjoy it by himself. My mom's salad was massive; she ended up taking most of it home. "We checked in online before heading to the restaurant, but upon arrival, we still had to wait in line to check in with the hostess, who informed us of a 10-minute wait. It felt pointless to check in online if it didn't save us any time at all. There should be a text option for checking in when you arrive. Overall, it was quite disappointing. My favorite dish here is the A.M. Superfoods Power Bowl; it’s the only vegan option I found that doesn’t require a special request. This is disappointing because their website claims to offer vegan choices. My wife has tried various dishes, and unfortunately, the food has consistently been mediocre."
