"While most other restaurants are still closed, letting the pitchers of Mimosas chill until 10AM, the Latin-X spots are wide open and ready to feed you good. I happened upon Blue Cafe after anticipating a Mcgriddle from the Mickey D's down the block but discovered that it's currently closed for renovations. The staff was lively and pleasant. My buttered grits, fried eggs and beef sausage to-go breakfast, was served to me with a smile. It was all very good but a tad bit over salted. I ordered a super gooey, cheese empanada to munch on the drive home. It was also good but could have been great if it were actually hot and had not been sitting in a warming tray. I appreciate them for being open so early each day. Blue Cafe will probably be a regular breakfast location for me now."
