"Smithfield Station....!? What can I say? Well, the service did an ok job. The dinner party I was in was pretty large 20 or more people)...on the other hand the food... I will for the cost and the hype, it was a disappointment. I ordered the calabash oysters. It came with Cole slaw barely had anything in it to break down the firm texture of the cabbage and no seasoning to over power the raw bitterness of the natural cabbage). But the 2 waitresses we had I believe that it was a bit overwhelming for them, yet they had great manners, professional and kept up as best they could with all the orders. So, I would give them a try perhaps in the future. The location was beautiful and for the occasion...my grandmother's 94 birthday celebration, well my grandmother was pleased just to have the crowd of family and friends celebrating her on that Saturday 4pm gathering. So, overall because my dear grandmother who is in the picture, enjoyed herself... SMITHFIELD STATION achieved enough this round! Great Job.. yet, until next time my review will be more precise and clean cut."
